Good Ad with positive message, but weak on fact: "Fight big spenders in Congress!"

One Q: Which party wa$ in charge and grew and expanded government, broke the bank (quite literally) and got u$ into thi$ economic me$$, $ay from 1995-2006 and 2001-2009?

Hint: It was NOT the party in charge right now ... those in charge how (like them or not) were confined in to got there and work to clean up the me$$ from all those aforementined years, Dede ...

So, unless you intend to go there and fight your own party in a huge minority role, then this would be my little corner of any new Ad fer ya'...

"Just call me correct ..."

Danny,
Your party(including you) and the republican party is what is wrong with this spend happy government.
One thing I can say in your favor is at least you say it is alright to tax and fee every business to death. Of course when you drive all businesses out of business you will still have Fort Drum around to keep the lights in NY State. Of course, I dont know who will foot the bill but you can sit around and admire the facility at least. Get rid of all life long bottom feeders in government and let some people that have actually had to make a payroll and show a profit get us out this mess that all you lifers have got us into. Vote against Dede and Owens and send a message to the rest of the country for next year.

2:27 - stop lying about me...

Your post in part: "One thing I can say in your favor is at least you say it is alright to tax and fee every business to death."

The is a flat out lie... I have never advocated taxing anyone or any business to death...

Retract that bald-faced lie you little piece of dog sh*t.

I hope IVY screens the lying Anonymous poster better and deletes out right lies... this is a whopper.

The ad was a long time coming and is a total and complete waste of money and time.

Just call her "dead in the water!"

Danny M. Francis (Eyepublius) said...

Good analysis... and I see nothing wrong with this analysis of Dede:

"A lot of what Scozzafava stands for resembles an old school conservative."

"At best, she's a moderate with conservative leanings."

"At worst, she's a conservative Republican whose liberal stances on two social issues (gay marriage and abortion) have given her an inaccurate label."

It is for reasons like this labeling and analysis from others that I greatly dislike labels ...

Dede should learn this lesson:

"Candidates have to define themselves and NOT wait for their opponent or media to define them."

To wait means difficulty in defining oneself later on...

The media deals in barrels of ink...

Good luck anyway.

Dan, your first post is either stupid or a deliberate lie. I couldn't get myself to read you follow-ups. The Republicans have learned to spend and buy votes. But they are not as good at is as your party. You either know this and are lying about it or a completely hopeless. You should also own up to the fact that the greatest bank breaking that you lament is going on right now, with stimulus spending and the huge increase in the deficit added in the last few months.

And while you're bitching and living in the past you also support another trillion (short term) for healthcare. Then you have the dishonesty to post drivel like this. You become more of a joke every day.

Danny M. Francis (Eyepublius) said...

You can be "On the air," with a strong postive message/Ad that most people will listen to -- it's the crap they won't negative Ads work if they tell the truth and that is possible; not just the downright liars I cite here...

Wow Dannie. Somebody posts that you, your party and your taxation philosophy is a problem and you call them dog sh*t. Oh now son that's really good. Then you follow it up with a plea that PIV screen posters more carefully. But let's get this straight. You can call people racist, but this guy can't go after your views on taxation?

Very sad. Now I see where you're coming from on that Fox News tantrum of yours. In typical Lib fashion you can do the puke job, but others should criticize you. And if they do they are "dog sh*t". Dannie, you've made your name a household word. Be proud.

You can't be in favor of more government in every aspect of our lives then say you ain't a fan of taxation. That's where your critic, you know, "dog sh*t", is absolutely right.

Danny M. Francis (Eyepublius) said...

78:17 - dogsh*t always applies to you, if you're the same Anonymous a-hole riding my ass.

You posted this in part: "You can call people racist, but this guy can't go after your views on taxation?"

Another lie from your snarling lips...

Go after my views, opinions and beliefs all you want ... fair game, if factual. But, that is one word my friend that you just don't know.

Lies you spew are not facts about me, and I'm sick and tired of it.

I will defend myself anyway I can and if that means being nasty, in your view, so be it.

I never start out or intend to be nasty, but you have this magnet effect on me ... and a few others here, I am sure.

If that's your goal... great, you've succeeded - congrats.

But you're still dogsh*t.

Nice job, Mr Francis. You made no attempt whatsoever to address what was said. Just more name calling. When you settle yourself we will be here, wondering what is wrong with you and what your explanation will be. Have a great Sat night. Sounds like you're doing fine.

so now Mr Francis is against free speech and has co=opted the Bald Eagle to show he has the high ground. My dog just took a dump.

Did'nt have to check out the link.Daileykos told the whole story. You do realize that is a leftwing loon site hellbent on destoying this country? Our freedoms, our strengths, our pride and our rights?

Anonymous said...

All day yesterday Dede was on the air. Her and that other liberal, Bill Owens side by side. She is a baby killer.

Anonymous said...

12:28, Daily kos is a hopelessly partisan website (though I wouldn't go as far as to say they are "hellbent on detroying this country") and I seldom get news from there. However, the article I linked to is well researched and details dede's votes on a large array of issue.

Anonymous said...

So now I'm not "dog sh*t", it's that other guy who went after your taxation views. OK Dan, just trying to keep it straight.

Did they teach you to act like this in the Marine Corps? Don't you think you should raise the level of your discourse a bit, as you do represent more than just yourself? Maybe you're getting to a point where you should leave this blog stuff alone a bit. You're making a fool of yourself. Getting mad as someone is no reason to lose it like you've done.

Danny M. Francis (Eyepublius) said...

IVY: If I were you I'd drop the "Anonymous" option for posters... the insults are getting a bit too much.

If they want post and hammer folks, that's fine, just do it with honor and openness... no more hiding behind Anonymous labels. That's not fair to those of us who can take the heat...

Just a suggestion.

City Watch said...

That is not possible by the host.

Also, that would eliminate everyone but you.

I hope IVY screens the lying Anonymous poster better and deletes out right lies... this is a whopper.

City Watch said...

I hit publish before I was done.

In any event, it is difficult to be the truth police in terms of: "screens the lying Anonymous poster"

Danny M. Francis (Eyepublius) said...

IVY - "Alrighty then" (said in Jim Carrey voice over).

I'll be responsible for slapping some sh*t back into them, if that's okay with you and the rest of the listening audience? At least it will be entertaining reading grown men cry over the net.

LOL

Dan, you should sit down in a chair, read this, and consider it. Don't respond for a bit. If it is bs, then dismiss it. If it makes sense after a few minutes, then do with it what you will.

Dan, who was it who called others "racists"? That was you. In fact, you called the entire Republican party racists. There was no prompting. In fact, you started the entire series of responses with a "token" remark, bringing racism into that exchange.

Dan, who was it who called others "dog sh*t"? It wasn't me, it was you. No one was using foul language leading up to that point. This other guy, not me, went after your views on taxation. I don't think he lied. I think he was right on.

You then threaten those who get angry with you. As if you're the man. Whatever Mr Francis.

Then you repeatedly go crying to PIV, pleading with him/her to do something about these people who post anonymously. Dannie, if you choose to splatter your name out there, then I suggest a couple things. One, lay off the profanity. Two, no threats. Three,
calling people racist makes them mad, especially when you do not know them and you base this on your own prejudices. And four, take every opportunity you can to KEEP the high ground when you're in blog fights, especially when you've decided to do what I mentioned up front, which it to put your name out there in lights. If you do that, Dan, you HAVE to maintain the high ground. I'm surprised a military man doesn't know this. Maybe that explains why you're a party line Democrat.

If you feel the appropriate response is to as you say "slap some sh*t" into me, I understand. But I submit to you, DF, that this kind of attitude is why you're squirming around in the first place. I have very little to do with it. You've brought it on yourself.

Anonymous said...

7:16 PM
Agreed, and df if you would use the anon tag many of us would think more highly of you.I know you don't care but to think I had plans of voting for you in the past.Till I got to know ya better. geeez

2:27 PM Vote against Dede and Owens and send a message to the rest of the country for next year.

Yes sir, I and many others plan on it!

Danny M. Francis (Eyepublius) said...

7:16 ... I'll say this in short order and not respond again ...

You are exactly the type of poster hiding behind that damn "Anonymous" moniker that I can't ID but sometimes have to respond to and defend myself.

It seems there are more than one Anonymous who post here. I can't or won't try to keep track of which one to return the insults to.

If it's not you that I respond to (and only you know for sure), then just let it pass ... if it's you and the proverbial shoe fits ... well ... you know the rest.

But, keep playing and trying.

A vote for Hoffman is a waste. He can not win and should get out of the race.

Anonymous said...

hoffman is lying about dede's record.

He said she only voted against this budget just so she could run for congress. Which would have been hard since Mchugh wasn't nominated until after the budget had been enacted.

He also says she voted for every other state budget which is lie. Dede voted against the 2003 budget which was the 2nd largest tax increase in state history.

when Hoffman went on the fred thompson show the host claimed Dede supported gun control. Dede has an A rating from the NRA and this year voted against 12 gun control bills. http://www.votesmart.org/issue_rating_category.php?can_id=22881

Of course the dccc has also distorted her record. Their ad presents votes authorizing the continuation of county sales tax rates as tax increases. DCCC also says she managed the investment arm of a firm owing back taxes. Seaway capital partners and seaway capital Corporation are seperate companies.

Danny M. Francis (Eyepublius) said...

I'd like to see an Ad that reinforces the facts that are now coming out that tells us why we need another millionaire in Congress?

OK Dan. I guess you've decided to dismiss the advice. I think that's a mistake. This isn't about "keeping track" of who is going after you. This is mostly about what you say that brings about the attacks in the first place. I don't take pride in seeing how much credibility you've lost of late. It's a sad situation.

Danny M. Francis (Eyepublius) said...

My credibility is just fine... dipstick. But, thanks for your concern. (LOL)

Anonymous said...

I was so hoping you'd keep your word, for once, and not respond again. So be it.

Anonymous said...

Dan's best bet would be to quietly move away. Then keep his mouth shut for awhile before he launches political tirades and pablum. Gain some credibility before you tell them who you are. Stay sober and in control when you post. No profanity or threats. No racisim accusations. There's still time to regoup some self respect. Probably not around here though.

Danny M. Francis (Eyepublius) said...

10:39 -- Nice laundry list, there Anon: ain't about to happen ... your post in part:

1. Keep my mouth shut for awhile before he launches political tirades and pablum. (I will only shut up when I'm laid 6 feet under).

2. Gain some credibility before you tell them who you are. (I have plenty of credibility, if you bother to understand and I want people to know who I am and where I stand).

3. Stay sober and in control when you post. (I don't drink - a glass of wine with dinner and beer on a hot summer day - that's it - I resent your insult - and I'm totally in control when I post).

4. No profanity or threats. (You and a few other "Anonymous" im-posters bring out the worst in me and force me into retaliating).

5. No racisim accusations. (I'm not a racist and don't use it as a tool or weapon - you are flat out wrong).

~ dmf

1) No one told you to shut up. The suggestion was think before responding. Clearly too much to ask.

2) Gain credibility. I guess this is directed at me. I'm not an expert on much of anything. I don't claim to be. You, on the other hand, are very sure of yourself. I guess that's a strength, I guess. All a matter of balance.

3) I don't think you are in control. Drinking would explain the reason for the mood swings and the profanity. There must be other reasons. I don't drink either.

4) An apology would have been accepted, but an explanation is appreciated. But Dan, you've already broken your word. Today's posting has another of your "f*ck you" responses. What is going on with you. I didn't post the note beforehand, and the guy who did did not attack you.

5) Dan, you called the entire GOP racists. Either that, or someone posted that using your account. You could have apologized or explained or backed away, but you just kept hammering that point. It is something I will not forget. Saying it isn't so does not change the words you used.
