Its all Patty Ritchie's fault..she just wants more money out of us.
That's ghastly! It will look terrible on my car, and I don't even get a choice.
First, Albany enacts this stupid plan, then they even screw up the design!
Which Democ campaign contributor got the design contract and for how much?
Probably the same Company that got the registration and inspection business
We should all remember the name of Denise O'Donnell, a young up and comer who is a head political hack for the state who claims we will all be safer because the new police plate readers will be "more efficient" with these new license plates. So according to Denise, it's not about the money, it's about our safety. No doubt Denise and her offspring will be state employees for many generations to come. Anyone willing to lie like this must have been promised something. Gee Denise, thanks for looking out for us.
The new plates are "Navy" colors... Go Army...
LOL
Hey 7:02 you're right, whenever you question govt. it's always a safety factor, I'm surprised they didn't play the "children card"
Patty Ritchie's right. Not worth the $25.
Why does any state even have license plates? The new car designs don't look good with the license plates. A small bar code could easily be read by a police car scanner! End of license plate design issues.
"Empire Gold" That's funny.
because when lbany politicians like Addie Russell and Darrell Aubertine look at us taxpaying slobs, all they see is our "gold" and dream up new ways to take and spend it.
8:41 - It's kinda like that G. Gordon Liddy commericial where he hawks "Invest in Gold like I did."
Tell them Gordon Liddy sent you.
8:40 try telling the 911 dispatcher the bar code of the car that ran over your dog and is leaving the scene.....
Gordon Liddy?
That's quite a stretch, Dannie. Makes no sense whatsoever.
These are the efforts we've come to expect.
Why do we have to pay these idiots that think up these schemes. Makes me think of high school kids ideas on how to raise cash for a field trip. Any thoughts how fight this latest brainfart?
And the moral of the story is:
If you're a nine year old and you bring a Boy Scout campin' spoon/knife to school, ya get kicked out and threatened with reform school and counseled about weapons and aggression.
If you're in the Army and you contact I'll Kidjda a couple dozen times for advice, tell people that killing people is ok, and say you're a religious nut first and an American second, you get ignored.
Things like this can be confusing.
Dannie, is this something we should blame on Fox News?
9:40 and
9:52 -- you two need to get a room and figure out these life-altering things for yourself...
My teaching certifications are not for grades K-6 ... sorry.
We need to get rid of Patty Ritchie
Dannie, I would expect you to avoid talking about any of this. Get in the closet and hide. Your wife will throw in a sandwich once in a while. And stay away from the kids. The last thing we need is for you to be running your mouth around young people. An Education degree huh? Makes perfect sense. I'll betcha got good grades too. Demanding courses.
Perfect.
Danny has Ollie North posters hanging up.
Dan.......the COLONEL!!!!
bring your crayons boys and girls we're having class now!!!!
why ia it A democratic fault. Who led the state for many years. How about it's governments fault. Again you show your narrow minded slated republican view.
At least now I can fathom why he can understand the educrats, and their continuing need for more and more money. And their need to handle out of control Boy Scouts so harshly.
11:20 and 5:25 and IVY:
Ivy often asks me to lighten up on my "insults" all the while one or two or more Anonymous posters (I have no idea who or how many are the same or different person) throw shît left and right at me as they hide behind that shield like a coward or worse.
Posting anonymously is one thing to protect one’s ID, and I know why some do; but when they insult others behind that moniker, that’s a different matter.
They are far worse than I and a few others who post here who take their insults lightly. A few of them purposely jerk my chain and distort my view on purpose for whatever reason they want. But I've said before, "I will defend myself."
One or two of them, or the same a-hole for all I know, purposely misspells my name, too, and that’s an insult also and then they somehow in their little twisted mind expect me to sit by and just brush it off – I will not – it’s not my character. The nasty discourse here is just as bad as the nasty discourse we think we are posting about that should matter – neither one proves anything.
I think you have a point. Although we never called you racist or never used profanity in your direction, we have been kind of mean and nasty. Your plea to the principal has been heeded. We are cowed.
We will lay back, a bit.
You may now come out of the closet.
No seriously, point taken.
Patty Ritchie gets Beau coup kudos for standing up to the Albany clowns who cooked up this whAcked scheme.
I have never called anyone at this trough a racist and I don't intend to ... period.
I know a racist when I hear one ... I did grow up in 1950's.
Anyone who hides behind an Anonymous moniker and throws sh*t bombs, my Anonymous friend, also deserves to be remembered.
I repeat - I have never called anyone a racist at this trough.
You can repeat anything you want. But you said it. At least be man enough to own up to your own words.
That is surprising. All that grit and determination, but not real backbone to face facts. If you apologized for those remarks, it would be over. But you won't, so it isn't.
Simple.
I like the news plates - but not the extra fee to get them.
The plate proposal will be history next week - going to be pulled off the table and shit-canned ... and, now back to that
$3.2 billion deficit we face right now that could hit, my some estimates, $9 billion in the 2010-11 budget, which is due April 1.
Any suggestions...
Yeah Dannie, take back all your free stuff. Give you a job at the school inspecting swing sets.
