Coming To Town

Newly minted Senate majority leader Malcolm Smith is coming to town. He has scheduled an appearance in Watertown for Tuesday February 17th. Smith is welcomed to Watertown with hope that he leaves possessing an understanding of the needs of Northern New York and that they can be much different from New York City.

New York is seriously out of balance with one party rule and the majority of the state leaders and majority representatives coming from the New York City area.

He is scheduled to meet with the Mayor with few other details are available.

It can never be a bad thing, the fact that he is visiting. Glad to see it. I have little confidence in him or his donkey dudes, but credit is due for the visit. I hope he gets to view the "crumbling" schools that he and his type believe must be saved. From what I have no idea.

LIKE HE CARES WHAT WATERTOWN NEEDS.
HE'S JUST HERE TO TRY TO CALM DOWN THE VOTERS BECAUSE THEY ARE GETTING PISSED

JIM, he's taking his time and coming to visit. That's a good thing. As far as the voters being upset about anything, I don't see any evidence of that, not here in the Empire State. Tax and spend here we go, and we love it.

But give the guy credit for visiting. Let's go tell him to quit borrowing and spending. You know our teachers will be off that day, so they will be telling him just the opposite.

If we are to turn things around both sides have to open up our minds a bit. Donkeys from NYC coming to Watertown is good.
