Gillibrand is tripping all over to reinvent herself as a lefty Democrat. After pulling the unloaded, safety locked and harmless guns from under her bed (for security reasons, her staff sez!), she does a 180 on a gun rights bill she previously supported.
She demonstrates the stereotypical politician who will do or say anything to get elected.

There is only one constant in politics - the over-riding, gut level, animalist need to stay in office. The "I'll do anything, say anything, be anything" attitude pervades every elected official regardless of poliitical affiliation.
Very disappointing. She could have been, maybe still can be, a donkey some of us conservatives could have supported. I hope this is all media speak and she still stands for something.
If not, I guess we get ready for Sen McCarthy, a complete NYC fool.
Why can't we get rid of all of them? If the people of this state are not mad enough at the talking heads at this point We deserve to be where we are,In the toilet. And no they will not have my guns. 12:45 I understand completely. The problem is a new generation has been indoctrinated in stupidity. The only thing that matters is traffic on the way to the mall. They don't care about their rights. They don't care about freedoms. Their parents didn't take time to teach them and they sure didn't learn it in school. MTV doesn't mention it much. Media/TV doesn't know or care. If you told them they had to have a government chip implanted they wouldn't have a problem, as long as they could keep having sex with their underaged girlfriend.
People don't care.

You're right Danny. I just hope it's a media thing and the woman still has her own brain. She impressed me. Maybe all this is what Schmuch Schumer and McCarthy wants to believe. Maybe Ms Gillibrand isn't dead yet.
