Mrs. Rodney Dangerfield?

Is she not getting the respect she deserves from the Speaker?

The is Addie Jenne Russell's office at the capital. Reportedly a small office, furthest away from the activities and with a paper door label.

And this is another Assembly member and how their door is labeled.

Obviously, Addie's more concerned about the business of the Assembly and not all of the trappings that other people find important.

Maybe we should reference a quote from "Blazing Saddles" that talks of simple, common people.

You forgot to mention FDR's dog Fala...

Maybe Shelly Silver doesn't think she'll be in Albany long enough to merit an official door plaque!

Saw Ted Ford yesterday. He's looking good. Give 'em a chance to get into the job a bit. Maybe Addie will be ok.

This might be the dumbest posting you have ever had IV...she's a freshman member and on top of that who really cares about a wall plaque besides you?

Anon 9:45

Well stated!

Maybe she just doesnt want to add to the states debt for erroneous things like wall plaques....and for that I commend her

wow, how petty can you get, iv? but let's not get carried away, anon 9:45 -- the competition is really stiff! this post definitely has instant-piv-classic written all over it, but for my money, i still haven't seen anything top iv's palin vs. obama "tale of the tape" post.

if the rumors are true and iv lost the race a few years ago for the assembly seat that addie now holds, then thank goodness the outcome didn't swing the other way. i'd hate to see the holy hell iv would have unleashed if they messed up his/her office label.

P IV. I saw the humor in your post. Perhaps the other posters should stop taking everything so serious.

He has been a member of the assembly since 1992. He has had plenty of time to get name plate.

You are so right, nice to see you back, we have missed you.

A little humor goes a long way, too bad not everyone recognizes it.

Cheers!
