Jefferson County's First Wind Farm

Jefferson County's first wind farm is up and running, no public subsidies, no transmission lines running through farm fields, just a good clean project.

Watch - 2:00+ minutes

Hey things were getting too serious here, so we have to change the mood around Jefferson County. The Democrats have a major dump in their diapers and their mood is bad, so we needed a little humor.

Good one! Now envision something 40 stories tall with a constant whirr, dead birds at the base, flashing shadows and a forever-changed viewscape of our beautiful river and lakefronts and you have ...

... Cape Vincent!

Ha Ha Ha.. This redneck republican farmer from down near Three Mile Bay has one of those wind signs in his front yard too. Yuk, Yuk.

I also have a major dump in my diapers at the thought of an ex democratic county clerk calling the shots on my party's choice and a chance at a clean campaign that would bring a bit of dignity back to our party.

You city slickers are going to screw up any chance of that by kissing Wilder butt. Are you guys nuts?

Hey dirty diaper Anon 6:33. I doubt you are a Republican. If you were you would realize that the decision of Joann to change was her's and her's alone. And if you were a true republican you would support her freedom of choice, speech, etc.

Let me help you out. On the 4th floor in the Board of Elections there is a big pile of voter registration forms. Feel free to fill one out and become a Democrat(if you aren't already)

Just because Joann is endorsing does not mean she picked the candidate. It is my understanding that the candidate is a current employee with over 20 years of experience in the office. She is well respected and well liked by her fellow employees. It is not surprising Joann would support someone who she was supervised and can attest to her work ethics and abilities.

I am surprised that Joann's actions are causing such venom.

Then I guess you are not all that familiar with local politics. If you think you are surprised now, then wait until the campaign when you have to explain to the voters.

I think I saw the same video on that Pandora's Box blog a few days ago. But it's still a lot funnier than the thought of those 400 ft ones that they want to be cramming into every inch of space they can buy around here.

I don't want to change to Dem.

It is exactly that type of cockiness that caused us to lose the Senate and the Assembly and now a stupid mistake could cause us to lose a chance to gain something. If Jo Ann had any respect for the person she recommends she would have stepped aside and let that person show their credentials and not throw them into a controversy.

God man, stop and think. Don't you people ever listen to anybody but the boys at the bars in the city?

The real tall ones have been reported to have caused numerous deaths due to ice sling in the winter.

Of course, without making any effort towards greener energy, the effects of "climate change" may eliminate the occurrence of ice in this area.

Our very own Don Quixotes in Cape Vincent and Hammond. Who woulda thunk it?

Kindly provide the names of ANY of these alledged deaths.

Short of any substantiating proof, please STHU.

Oh no, 7:26 is right on that. Not only do these windmills cause icedeath they spread ADD and AIDS via very small seeds that are blown around homes at night, while they're sleeping. You will soon see the population on Wolfe Island take a nosedive. Little children, flying kites, will be sucked into the blades and the resulting mush will be used as fertilizer by the evil oil companies. It's a big cycle and if we don't stop it now our way of life is over.

I repeat, over.

Thank goodness somebody is finally taking this seriously.

Say NO to the Windmills of Death!

The "selection" process by Ms. Wilder, is akin to the selection process in choosing Addie's replacement, There was 3 people mentioned, But Addie chose a relative.
