Albany's Assault on Gun Owners

Well what local Dems would ever have pictured this happening - maybe only the brain dead. The progressives hate the fact that citizenry have guns and their evil gun habits, hunting, target shooting and protection. They can't understand why people won't rely on the government for all their needs.

How did Ms. Russell vote?

She voted the way the nazi told her to voted. Shelly would have made the Germans proud. Even the other thug, Schumer, has spend much effort trying to convince Sen Gillibrand to go with emotion, and forget fact. Gun laws are based on fear an ignorance. Pushing this crap always seems to work with people who have no idea about the issue.

NYS is being run into the ground by MORONS !! Can't they find anything worthwhile to do? Besides breaking us, stripping our rights and freedoms, Forcing our kids to move out of the state and bankrupting our grandchildren.

Jeff DEM says "Addie Russell" to fight to repeal Floor Tax on Wine and Beer sellers... But, I wonder?

* New York State face a $14 Billion dudget gap.

* A separate battle has recently been won by wine store owners, as last week the New York State Legislature refused supermarkets such as Costco the right to sell wine, along with 19,000 new outlets, including gas stations, delis, mini-marts, bodegas, and grocery stores (where I think the pain would have been spread around, right?).

* So, if the legislation had passed that bill, opponents suggested that 1,000 liquor stores would have closed, costing 4-5,000 jobs (and, I can't figure out why).

But, the New York Senate passed the floor tax bill, and it will now be delivered to Governor Paterson for his consideration. He is expected that he will ratify it quickly.

My Q: so how does Ms. Russell fighting help the issue now, explain that again, Jeff DEM - I musta missed something?

She has to vote as she does. That's the way the Dems do it. The only time they speak differently is during campaigns.

Yup, ya missed something, Dan. This was a gun thread. I don't blame you for trying to change the subject.

AJR is taking pages from Sen. Aubertine. Say you're against high taxes, vote for them, and then declare you'll fight to repeal them!

You'll hear Addie and Darrel running around all summer talking about how they were opposed to all the new taxes ($8 billion worth) in the new state budget.

But if they were against them, how come they are among the few Upstate democrats who voted FOR them?

Come on now, quit picking on Addie Jenne Russell, she did not understand Jefferson County's budget how do you expect her to understand the state budget.

You're right, she doesn't have to understand the NYS Budget, just vote yes, then complain about the new fees. But we elected her so grin and bear it. she did a nice job at the Theresa Parade throwing candy.

WOW wish i was there to see her throwing candy

Did anyone actually bother to see how she voted???? She voted "NO" to about 90% of the bills. Does anyone even care about the facts?

City Watch said...

Actually it is less than 90%, more like 60+% but she did vote NO on something like 8 of 12 bills. Dede was 90+% who voted NO on 11 of 12

The Facts!! Thanks IV, only took you a week. Why wouldn't you just post these up front. Even gun owners can admit that not all of these bills are bad bills. Many of them do not restrict the rights of legal gun owners in any way possible. How about making pawn shops comply with the law that every other gun store must comply with?

I would like to see the legislature vote to outlaw all use of guns while thinking bad thoughts. If you have an evil thought, you will be banned from using a firearm until such time as you are certified "bad thought free" by a licensed NYS Negative Thought Therapist. Hopefully one who is dually certified in play therapy.

Will this stupidity ever end?
Not as long as people are thinking with their emotions and not their brains. We have already regulated guns to levels of absurdity. Enforce the laws we have. Take minor druggies out of jail. Put gun crime idiots IN jail. Quit adding more BS feel good gun laws to the pile that already exists.
