Good luck with this one. You're rowing against the tide on this issue. It's gonna happen; and sooner rather than later.

The downward spiral of civilization that started 50 years ago is picking up speed.

Marriage has little to do with religion or the church. Churches are where peoples gathered to celebrate everything. You can get married on a ship by an atheist Captain! Jesus parents were probably not even married in a traditional way that we know. Uniting same sex couples is actually good for business from the permit to buying property together. Of course this goes along with our rapidly downward spiraling.

That's the worst video I've ever seen on that topic.

It if filled with soft-tone, fancy PR soundbytes like: "fear, hype, worry, misinformation, disinformation, and downright bias" that oozes from every set of lips.

The soft music and variety of speakers doesn't make one iota of a difference ... it's fear-mongering by a bunch of worry warts who are biased.

* Gay marriage, no matter what your own personal views are, will NOT hamper your rights, your life, your marriage, your job, or your freedoms, UNLESS you allow it to like all prejudices do.

what's your stand on same-sex marriage, iv? you've been posting on it a lot -- do you have a position yourself?

Saw a cartoon about 80-year old woman answering her 85-year old husband who asked her about her view on "Same sex marriage."

"That's what I've endured with you for over 60 years - same sex, time after time. So, yep, I know about same-sex marriage."

Yup, I agree with all the other writers. Society is too far gone for us to make a stand on this one. But remember, polygamy will be next. That'll tick off folks. Not me, I think it's progeeeesive. People will be marrying trees pretty soon. Even Frogs will be able to get hitched.
