A Picture Is Worth A Thousand Words

This picture has been circulating around the internet since last week. It is Obama's Director of Speech Writing Jon Favreau groping a card board cut out of the Hil. As well as Bam's transition is going, they may have overlooked vetting a staff member here or there. Add your caption!

you're certainly right to call out favreau, iv -- totally crass and disgusting. he has, unsurprisingly, apologized to clinton.

Hey Kermit, imagine if this was done by a Republican. The "right wing media" you dream about would have had a great time with that, now wouldn't they? Good thing the conservative media exists only in your dreams.

dear anon,
perhaps you missed it in my comment here (12/6, 4:31), so let me explain it again: at no point have i meant to assert that the american media as a whole tilts to the right (nor would i assert that it tilts to the left). but do you seriously deny the existence of a conservative wing of the media? do you think the talk radio-fox news-matt drudge-wall street journal-washington times-national review-weekly standard axis of the media "exists only in [my] dreams"?

that aside, the favreau story has certainly gotten press coverage -- a quick google shows that cnn, the washington post, and the la times have all picked it up, and that's just scratching the surface. here's a great column from the washington times that compares the photo to a barroom rape scene!

Kermit,
You fail to comprehend much of anything, as usual. I'm very proud of the fact that you see balance in our media ("nor would I assert that it tilts to the left"). The fact that you see things this way, and state so in writing, tells us more about you that anything I can say. I would submit that this country is almost entirely controlled by liberal media. Even the most biased among us have reluctantly admitted this. However, there are folks like you that continue to insist otherwise. Listing the major newspapers, AP/wireservices, the major networks, hollywood, hell, any influential aspect of our media is so hard left it stinks. But mindless idiots insist on talking about FOX news, and what was the other one, oh yeah, this blog, as being out of touch right wing. Are you that uncomfortable that you can never tolerate the other side of the story? What you are is pretty clear. Go ahead, present yourself as a balanced and openminded individual. But don't venture too far from the nest. Somehow I'm not too worried that you will.

shorter anon 6:22: everyone who sees the media differently from me is a mindless idiot.
