"He's looking for an exit plan."

Break out the bottles of champagne, one of the leaders of the downstate favoring Democratic controlled New York State Senate is looking the exit.

Malcolm Smith is mapping his exit strategy and none too soon. His policies and those of the Democratic New York State Senate have been unfavorable for upstate.

Buh Bye Malcolm

The folks in Southeast Queens can take comfort in saying, "He's one of us."

What a great post-government job opportunity for this poor man who has been couped against, diced and sliced, treated badly, and tossed around like an old shoe or sock ... I hope he makes millions and millions -- he deserves a break.

Now, if only Pedro Espada, Jr. can make a deal like that -- he deserves a golden parachute, too. Only one w/o a ripcord.

(FN: I wonder if some of the Anonymous posters know what tongue-in-cheek means? We're about to see) ... LOL

What difference will it make? No doubt he'll be replaced by yet another party line thug.

Smith looking to cash in on his power and access? Just like Darrel Aubertine with wind turbines.

Indict 'em all!

No Dan, us "Anons" are stupid and don't know what tongue in cheek means.

Doesn't matter who is from down there...they'll just replace Malcolm and Pedro with another Malcolm and another Pedro...voters in NYC do not CARE about what happens in Albany. They have control and get all the breaks...Upstate voters keep putting up duds like "Our guy Darrel" and we have NO voice.

Anon 8:17 - here's how to make that Youtube a link - simple:

type this first:

Title Goes Here

Inside the " " paste the HTTP link.

Pretty easy - then it comes out like this:

Jim Wrights Defends the North Country

Oh Danny Boy, thanks. I'm not as experienced a poster as you.

Nice, snide little party line stuff, Danny. But it bears little connection to reality. As your little analogy proves, people in this area will vote for a Republican or a Democrat. Where Smith comes from is pretty much in the bag, every election. Elections have been competitive in this part of the state. Not so in the Great City.
