'Joe'the elected representative, who represents only the health care industry and not the people of South Carolina. His largest campaign donors are health followed by hospitals and the drug makers. Oh, and buy the way his name isn't even Joe, its Addison. Old Addi lies every time he pretends his concerns are for the people of South Carolina. A state with one of the highest percentages of people with no health insurances. He lies when 'Addi' doesn't mention that health insurances companies profits are what drives his politics. They should throw this bum under a bus.

Wow - talk about putting out the flames quickly and running for 2010 quickly... what a guy?

LOL

JeffDems want donations to help a "former Marine" beat Joe Wilson
in SC next cycle:

Yea, for the former Marine

But around here a "former or retired Marine" and lifelong Dem can't take the place of an "INDY" to run for Congress in a Special Election?

Just wondering - why?

The numbers you you are showing us at that link are for Wilsons entire career.A period of 9 years, you think that is big money? You must be a true dem if you think wilsons camp contributions over a decade are horrible but obozos 700 million in 8 months is good. You have prompted me to donate $50 instead of $10 to his campaign.I can't seem to get to his web site but I will.

I'd like to find out directly what Dede, Doug and Bill think about of Rep. Joe Wilson's "You lie" shout to President Obama...

We need to know what they think about it... don't we? I think we do.

Anon 10:34, Here's Congressman Joe Wilson 2009 - 2010 campaign contributions. Sorry that your paltry sum of $50 dollars doesn't buy the influence that the health and hospital industry has been buying this term. Maybe if Rob Miller wins, he will be unique and actually represent the voters.
If anyone needs representative government it's South Carolina.

Somebody has to admit the Emperor has no clothes. The Great One was lying. This guy called him on it. Simple stuff.

But obama was lying about coverage for illegals and many other things and he knew it.So I guess I will stay confused as to who the villain is on this one.Apparently the dems feel it's ok to stand in front of the country and lie through your teeth.Change you can believe in ya right.

Anonymous said...

If the president "lied" about it, then how come it's not in the bills being considered and the Senate said no, too?

Reconcile that...

To Anon's 11:01 & 11:12.
Here are the sections of the house health bill being considered for a vote. It would seem that the only so called facts that you believe in, are the lies of the likes of Joe Wilson.

the total is around $200,000 so what. Rangel cheated us out of more than that in 1 rental property.Blago likely has more invested in hair care. You forget I live in NY for the time being,$50 is more than I have in disposable income I got pentions to pay. Look at the following tax rates I would say we need representation N Carolina is doing just fine without any liberal help.

NEW YORK
State Sales Tax: 4.0% (food, prescription and non-prescription drugs exempt); Other taxing entities may add up to 5.00% in additional sales tax.
Gasoline Tax: 42.5 cents/gallon
Diesel Fuel Tax: 42.3 cents/gallon
Cigarette Tax: $2.75/pack of 20; New York City adds an additional $1.50.

Personal Income Taxes
Tax Rate Range: Low - 4.0%; High - 6.85%. All income considered taxable including tips, gifts, gratuity and interest income some exemptions apply.

SOUTH CAROLINA
Sales Taxes
State Sales Tax: 6% (prescription drugs exempt); 25 counties impose an additional 1% local option sales tax; a number of counties impose a 2% sales tax. Seniors 85 and older pay 4%.
Gasoline Tax: 16.8 cents/gallon
Diesel Fuel Tax: 16.8 cents/gallon
Cigarette Tax: 7 cents/pack of 20

Personal Income Taxes
Tax Rate Range: Low - 3.0%; High - 7%; No tax on the first $2,630 of taxable income in tax year 2007.

Does anybody know what Dan just said? This is gettin' a little bit creepy.

Anonymous said...

Anonymous 10:14... sure, what he said is clear, crystal ... is there any other kind than crystal clear?

Anonymous said...

I'll reread it.

I did.

Uh, ok. I think I got it.

Anonymous said...

If the president "lied" about it, then how come it's not in the bills being considered and the Senate said no, too?

Reconcile that...

Reconciled and you are exactly right. If it is not in the bill exactly saying illegals are not covered then they ARE COVERED! Although there is a paragraph stating just that there is another stating the care provider cannot ask if the care seeker has legal status. Therefore they are covered and we are going to pay for it. Being the joker knew this (it's his bill) he did in fact lie. Joe wilson is the new american hero like it or not.

Danny M. Francis (Eyepublius) said...

ANON 9:01: Joe Wilson is the "new American hero" you say ...

Your definition of "hero" is far far different than mine or most Americans I surmise.

So, his main sponsor, the FOX nitwork, is by extension the standard bearer and platform for all heroes to stand on?

Crappy standard; lousy platform!!!

Anonymous said...

You may think fox is a lousy platform but today it's the only platform to get any smidgeon of truth. You honestly think msnbc would give the complete story on obamas lie?Not a chance. While chris mathews is tingeling in his pants and oldermen is trying to convince his 35 followers ann coulter is a man the rest of the country turns to fox.I know you libs hate it. We just need the bigger half of the country to wise up. We were had the last election because of cnn and msnbc. I'm pretty sure it won't happen again.

Danny M. Francis (Eyepublius) said...

9:37 - FOX equals Truth?

My dear man/woman... I'm surprised you can even spell the word truth - let alone know what truth means!

The "rest of the country turns to FOX" you say - for that truth again?

Maybe for a laugh or snarl or target practice, but far, far be it from the truth.

check the ratings and whine dan it's 3 to 1 and growing.Like I said the country is waking up, this liberal shit just won't fly.Jump on or get to hell outta the way

Danny M. Francis (Eyepublius) said...

4:14... thanks, but I'm comfortable in my skin and views that I hold... depending on the issue - as far as economic views, try this on for size... you may want to refer to it from time to time:

* This is the paradox of the tea-party movement and other right-wing protests fueled by genuine citizen anger and fear, and Joe Wilson's angry scream.

1. It is true that the federal government embraces redistributive policies and that middle-class income is seized in order that "someone else benefits."

2. But, obviously, that "someone else" who is benefiting is not the poor and lower classes -- who continue to get poorer as the numbers living below the poverty line expand and the rich-poor gap grows in the U.S. to unprecedented proportions.

3. The "someone else" that is benefiting from Washington policies are -- as usual -- the super-rich, the tiny number of huge corporations which literally own and control the Government.

4. The premise of these citizen protests is not wrong: Washington politicians are in thrall to special interests and are, in essence, corruptly stealing the country's economic security in order to provide increasing benefits to a small and undeserving minority.

5. But the "minority" here isn't what Fox News means by that term, but is the tiny sliver of corporate power which literally writes our laws and, in every case, ends up benefiting.

6. It wasn't the poor or illegal immigrants who were the beneficiaries of the Wall St. bailouts; it was the investment banks which, not even a year later, are wallowing in record profits and bonuses thanks to massive taxpayer-funded welfare.

7. The endlessly expanding (and secret) balance sheet of the Federal Reserve isn't going to fund midnight basketball programs or health care for Mexican immigrants but is enabling extreme profiteering by the very people who, just a year ago, almost brought the global economic system to full-scale collapse.

Got it now?

I've watched yet another "Dan exchange". Sorry guy, you ain't gonna convince him. He's been programmed to hate Fox News and blame them for a message he would rather not get out there.

The real shame of the matter is that Dan spent much of his life defending big government. And now that they give him a little pension, fix his butt and his teeth, and give him a breat on his taxes and call him a hero, he believes it. And more importantly, he believes in them. Dan loves the government, and the government loves Dan. If you keep that in mind, listening to him becomes far less painful. It's kind of like knowing the punchline of the joke before the guy even starts talking. He really seems to care, about what HE has no idea.

gotcha

Danny M. Francis (Eyepublius) said...

"Hate," 6:50 and 9:21 is a serious word to use, but yes, I do hate FOX for the antics they pull off with Beck and Hannity and a whole bunch of other lying weasels, then have people like you and them (always scratching each other's backs for ratings) stand by and act like nothing happened or that they are above the fray - that they generated.

* That is the evil, pure evil nasty part:

To knowingly do or say or advocate things that they know are false, wrong, and incendiary, and then play dumb and act like they didn't do anything when they are called on it.

4:14, what about the 20 million a week and growing npr listeners?
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/03/23/AR2009032302972.html
and don't bring up rush limbaugh and other talk radio personalities as those people are entertainers not journalists. There is absolutely no comparison between npr and cnn, fox, and msnbc. cnn is okay for those who want basic watered down news; while msnbc and fox have morphed from being biased, unprofessional, infotainment networks to being propaganda channels.

Anonymous said...

The problem with Dan's baloney, this time, is that media in general slants left. Almost everyone, maybe even The Dan himself admits that. If you are conservative in nature you are subjected to the bias of all the major networks, NPR (just mentioned), hell, all the news networks. Even the entertainment industry slants left. Now The Danny cries about Fox News. Conservatives look at it as the ONE that IS balanced. Dan, do you really believe ALL media has to lean your way? This is a very strange way to think and I have no understanding of it. You have control of a huge majority of the message. And you throw a tantrum because you don't own it all? Very weird.

Anonymous said...

Npr surely you jest. They even admit over half their listeners are non english speaking. So I suppose they go to npr to understand a few words?even if it is words from the loony left. And even with a big boom in audience they are still losing money and getting in line for a subsidy.Fox fortunately don't have that problem.

Danny M. Francis (Eyepublius) said...

9:36 - that post is so bogus that it defies gravity... I don't feel that way at all and you are flat out wrong.

But, thanks for playing "Trying to Get Cha..." anyway ... better luck next time.

Anonymous said...

The Dan ends up with his butt handed to him, so he calls the thread bogus, and wiggles away.

Bye Dan.

Anonymous said...

10:13, npr being loony left is a myth not a fact; thought it's not uncommon for local pr hosts to lean left. They report on a wide variety of stories, many of which get ignored by the msm. Also, the focuse is on journalism, not making money, so there are no bill o'reilly shout fests or unhinged keith olbermann tirades.

Anonymous said...

Earth to 10:03, NPR was cited by you guys to prove YOUR point. Don't blame us for claiming it has a liberal bias. I tend to agree with you. It doesn't seem too bad. Nothing like a CNBC or a network news. But we didn't use it as an example. Yous can't have it both ways.

Dan can, but you can't.
Your friendly neighborhood racist.

Anonymous said...

question: Where do I find this npr ? I circled the radio dial 3 times and I can't seem to find it.

Danny M. Francis (Eyepublius) said...

NPR on FM at 89.9 / 99.9 / 90.9/ 91.7, ... "FM" you dippy...

Anonymous said...

Yeah, it's all over the place. Courtesy of the taxpayer.

We have tried to cut funding for it but it has a constituency. And after all, if we trimmed it back Dan might call it a racist move. Can't take a chance on that.

Anonymous said...

thanks i'll check it out.And I was searching fm,I don't listen to radio much just bob&tom in the morning. The music nowadays tends to give me skull cramps.

Anonymous said...

OK I listened to npr on my way to work this morning. It sucks big time someone is fudging the numbers.I can't imagine why anyone would tune in to listen to a 90yr old woman report the news.I think she dozed off a couple times.Sorry I'll stick with bob&tom.
