They Eat Their Own

Deputy Majority Leader of the New York State Senate - Democrat Jeff Klein speaks candidly about the ability of his colleagues and it is not flattering at all.
“Quite frankly, all of these people shouldn’t be in the majority ... I’d hate to have to be the judge, but they should really be in the minority. Because they’re really not ready to lead, they don’t understand how the legislative process works, that no matter who you are—majority leader, deputy majority leader—you have job to do. Go do it!”
"Some Democrats do not take the time to read their own bills. Then they take offense when someone tries debating their bills on the floor. And others are so out of touch that they think anyone who owns a home must be as rich as Michael Bloomberg. "

"...his colleagues are driven mainly by fear, more concerned with their own self-preservation than public service. Klein paints himself as the rare senator who wants to move legislation forward, but sees no end to slender majorities or Democratic skittishness to take big stands. "

And if you want to know what is wrong with the Democrats in the New York State Senate this is how one of his colleagues describes Klein - “He is titular head of that faction that is all white.” That comment is pathetic!

Finally! Someone willing to stand up and tell the truth! Why doesn't our Senator, Darrel Aubertine, stand with Jeff Klein and say, Enough! Instead, he'll cling to his power and perks, while the taxpayers get the stick.

But, at least they're Democrats.

Describing Klein this way as ... one of his colleagues describes Klein -- “He is titular head of that faction that is all white” is one thing, but to describe Klein himself is different.

"... all white?" Sounds like that comes from someone who is NOT white ... and if so, that is pathetic and pretty low.

Color has nothing to do with leadership and especially leading... and being in a "leader's chair" does not make one a leader -- not by any stretch (Cite: Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi and John Boehner and few committee chairs: all weak and rabid partisans who have the power, but not one lick of sense about leading).

Hey Dannie, isn't it great that the military vote won't get counted in the NY23rd? I'm sure you have an explanation for how that's ok, seeings how it was Donkey's that made the decision that set this up. You know, that political party that cares about the military and all, 'cept when votes are counted. Go ahead, explain. Or is this all about racism and Fox News?

12:17 -- don't know the details but it's wrong... probably connected to "mailing time and election date, returning date, etc." or something else bizarre like that.... anyway, it sucks and I wonder if someone will step in and mail the ballots and then count them later?

That seems fair to me.

We can talk about the Democrat scheduled, which is what causes the military vote problem, later. But first, review something for me, Dannie.

What have you got against someone using a description of "all white". That's exactly what you did when you smeared the Republicans. You noted numbers. You said they didn't have enough blacks in their ranks. So why should this be, as you say "pathetic and pretty low"? You can't have it both ways.

I agree with your current analysis. It is pretty pathetic and low. But that was your route last time you were making a point about others being racist.

Anon 6:58 -- I don't know if you are the same Anonymous riding my ass all the time; but, assuming you are, then I'm done "debating or dialoguing with you." (Hell, you can't even spell my name correctly)...

In fact, I will no longer respond to any Anonymous posters here ...

Until they come out from the shadows and discuss issues and stop hiding behind that moniker, I'm done with them.

Now, be gone with you.

Yup, that's what I'd do too. I'd take off. Typical.

I was here first Frances, the talking mule.

I've heard of a talking horse. But admitting so kind of dates me.
