Don't worry about making a big deal of eighth-grade graduations. How about the big to-do when a child graduates from pre-school? By the time they graduate from high school, it's old hat and no big deal. The same with so many other things today. Everything gets pushed on the kids at too young an age and many times it's the parents that want it, not the kids. Let them grow up before they start with the parties!
Ummmm....advising fathers to set higher expectations for themselves and not to be easily content; advising us not to waste our weekends watching sports, but perhaps do something constructive such as spend quality time with your family without having that time dictated by commercial television; and advising us not to waste time, money and energy on celebrations of trivial occurrences...it sounds like he is such an elitist!!! Foolish post and a total waste of time. Please stick to real political issues and quit your TMZ posts. But perhaps you are too busy celebrating the fact that you woke up out of bed (woohoo), that you have a job, and that there's a big game on this weekend to do any real research.
