Jeff Graham For Assembly?

The word this afternoon is that long time Watertown lawyer, sports fanatic, and faithful Republican Jack Scordo is encouraging Jeff Graham to run for the New York State Assembly in the 118th district.

This is the not the first time Jack Scordo has asked Graham to run, he has made a couple of request to Graham and the source is saying Graham did not rule out the possibility of a run.

This would also not be Jeff Graham's first flirt with an Assembly run, having previously challenged former Assemblyman Bob Nortz.

If Graham is to run he would likely be running solely on the Independence Party line, line C. If the state committee, namely Frank McKay, who Graham currently is experiencing a relationship as cold as ice, were to give Bobby Cantwell the out of party authorization, Wilson-Pakula, then this would set up a primary for the IP line.

As Jeff himself would say, make up your mind and announce if you have the fire in your belly to run step up and say so.

I agree with rwiley. GREAT POEM--and it's true. LOL.

He'd fit in great with all the other less than ethical politicians running this state.

Sleezy-Check
Dirty-Check
Money Cheat-Check

He's a shoe win

"The word" ?? The word wouldn't be coming from old Jeff himself, would it?

And this is from an Independent voice of reason?

If no one likes Jeff Graham as a mayor how did he get 85% of the vote last year?

Anonymous said...

Because he ran against Tim Labouf

He is better then the other two in the race.

rwiley you are uninformed, and quite frankly and ignorant boob. Let me give you an example of what a straight up person I think The Mayor is. My wife and I went to see Jeff to buy a used SUV, we were going to pay cash for it, and be done with it. Thanks to Jeff for being such a smart, and I feel honest man. He told us that he felt he would not being doing his job if did not at least look at some new Kia Suv's, and the deals they had. This after showing us plenty of used vehicles that we wanted to see.

10-year 100k mile warranty
0% interest for 5-years
And much more....We drove it. Had Jeff and FX crunch the numbers, and we bought our very first 'brand new car'. It was the smart move with our money, and if Jeff had not pointed some things out to us, I likely would have dropped 10k and driven away with a used suv just waiting to head to a shop somewhere for repairs with just a checkbook in my hand. Thanks again Jeff and FX. How many people can say hey, "I bought my first new car from the Mayor of Watertown!"

BTW-If Jeff does decide to run, obviously he has my support. I also feel that the GOP should take a look at Jeff as well...He would crush Ms.Clinton wannabe.

It sounds like you got a bad deal, Anonymous. You should have gone to Fuccillo! Never trust a politician!

EVERYONE HAS BAGGAGE IF HE HAS DONE ANYTHING IN HIS LIFE. JEFF HAS BEEN A GOOD MAYOR FOR WATERTOWN. HE RUNS AN INTERESTING , SOMETIMES CONTROVERSIAL TALK SHOW AND SEEMS SINCERE. I THINK HE WOULD BE GOOD IN THE ASSEMBLY. WE NEED FRESH IDEA NATIONWIDE.

If you went to the Mayor intending to buy a USED car, CASH, with the depreciation already paid for and came out with a NEW car and a 5 year loan, new monthly payment, on a car that would be worth $4000 less after you drove it home, how could you make a good judgement at the polls? And, by the way, there is no such thing as an interest free loan. You paid for it in the inflated cost of the new car or reduced trade-in.

Jack, of the beanstalk caper, would be proud!

And, you called rwiley a boob?

Mr. Car Buyer should check to be sure he boght the car and did not lease it.

How many people can say hey, "The Mayor of my town also sells used cars?"

These independents are as phony as a 3 dollar bill.
First, they claim they are independent, then they ask for the endorsement of a real party so they have a chance.

Anonymous said...

Let me get this straight. A guy goes to a politician to buy a car?

JEFF GRAHAM IS THE INDEPENDENT PARTY IN THIS AREA. YOU SO CALLED ANONYMOUS PEOPLE DON'T EVEN LEAVE YOUR NAME. YOU DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THE PARTY. I HAVE BEEN WITH THE PARTY FROM DAY ONE. JEFF GRAHAM NEVER DID ANYTHING TO ANY OF YOU. IF SO, STATE YOUR CASE. FX DOES NOT SELL CARS IN ANY SHADY WAY. AGAIN , BEEN AROUND THE COMPANY FOR 15 YEARS. HAVE YOU ANONYMOUS PEOPLE WORKED ANYWHERE FOR 15 YEARS? I HAVE, AND THEY DON'T STICK IT TO ANYONE! JEFF WILL BE GREAT IN THE JOB. IF HE WANTS TO WORK FOR THE LIKES OF YOU. CRAZYRAY.

" JEFF GRAHAM NEVER DID ANYTHING TO ANY OF YOU."

Jeff Graham stole my shoe!

At least you have a choice when you buy a car. In our small town here, the Mayor is also the only undertaker.
