Balance Of Power ????

Looking at your little graphic, its pretty impressive that the Number 2 in the Senate is an Upstater.

Not a problem. We had to know this is what would happen. We were warned. But party loyalty was more inportant than a fair shake for our own area. It doesn't matter, and those with means can deal with the resulting problems. I'm certainly not losing sleep over NYC control of everything. What, me worry?

Your item should be slugged "IM-balance of power.

A picture's worth a thousand words!

Oh Sh*t!

Isn't it true that without representation I don't have to pay any taxes?

ON THE EDGE OF OBSESSION, BEGINS THE DESCENT OF MADNESS.

iv maybe you should move to Manhattan already. Apartments prices are a real bargain and you would contrast nicely with the solid blue progressives.

Believe what you want, but think for yourself, no matter how they attempt to spin it, Jeff Klein is number 2.

Truth be known, I very much enjoy Manhattan and would move there in a New York minute. I have a brother and nephew there, and my nephew happens to be one of those "blue progressives."

So you're suggesting that NY state's population should be distributed equally throughout the state?

The leadership doesn't reflect the population distribution. But then again there is now no reason for NYC folks to listen to us. Enjoy the benefits of a one party state.

Anon 1:08 AM:

So you believe the drawing of senator and assembly districts have nothing to do with population density?

S l o w l y, there are more folks living upstate than committee leadership would suggest. Quit spending so much time alone.

"S l o w l y, there are more folks living upstate than committee leadership would suggest"

Even more s l o w l y: Those 'other' folks have chosen to be represented by a party that is not in the majority. Take your complaint to them. They are the ones that have created 'your' imbalance of power. Their refusal to support the Dems have hurt all of upstate. (Can you now see how ridiculous your assertion is?)

Why don't you learn to deal with this? Your obsession with this issue is truly alarming. There are sooo many issues that you could address with this forum, yet you choose to belabor an issue that neither YOU nor your audience can or is willing to change.

I understand your point, but think it's foolish.

We've done our part. We bent over, and elected donkeys. What has it gotten us? Less representation.

I'm not sure how you can look at this and not see it. But people tend to explain things to justify thier bias. You did well in that regard.

Yeah, I thought we changed too. We've elected all democrats. That should have bought us more representation, not less.

Stump thinks this has to do with "population density?" In which Senate district is your planet?
