Citigroup, who are the recipients of $45 billion dollars from the federal government in bailout money is about to receive their new corporate jet worth $50 million.

White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs, asked about the plane at his televised briefing, said the president believes that that for banks receiving U.S. capital “so that they can lend money,” private jets aren’t “the best use of money at this point.”

Didn't the Dems used to say the Republicans were the party of big business? Now they are the ones who can't wait to dole out big checks to crooked companies, and the Reps are pushing tax cuts. Why am I confused by all this?
