He Could Not Take The Heat

So he left the kitchen.

The Governor has witnessed his share of bad press these days, mainly because of his own doing. It appears he could not tolerate any more unfavorable press with his numbers tanking quickly.

He passed up on the economic summit in Davos, Switzerland and realizes there is more pressing issues here.

Read here, here and here.

Meanwhile, Paterson's numbers are plummeting like a skydiver without a parachute. A month ago he held a 23 point lead in a head to head match up in a Democratic gubernatorial primary against AG Andrew Cuomo, in a poll released today by Siena it shows that number is now 2 and the number of undecideds increased by 7, which can be considered a negative for him.

The rating by those who believe his job performance is fair or poor has increased by 5 points from 40 to 45%.

The bright spot for Paterson is 42% believe New York is headed in the wrong direction, if he can turn that number around successfully then he will be difficult to defeat in 2010.

We needed a strong Gov when Spitzer was around. I rooted for him to do the job. He screwed up.

Now we got Gov Dave. We need him to be a strong Gov. I'm rooting for him. I hope he doesn't screw up. If he does, we be screwed.

Imagine, three men in a room. Skelos, Silver, and Smith. That's what it would be, folks. You stupid taxpayers would be dead.
