that was an interesting link. for my money, i expect the republicans to take back gillibrand's house seat. the dems tended to do very well in special elections when the republicans were in power this decade, and now that the tables have turned, the republicans have already won a number of special elections themselves. as for gillibrand's own ideological bent, here's betting she tacks a good deal to the left. the state as a whole is much more liberal than her former district.
I hope she doesn't tack too far. I like her the way she is.
Myself being a hard nosed repub.really don't care if she is a dem. As long as she stands firm and I mean red oak firm on gun owner rights she can have my vote and many others when the time comes.I am sick and tired of shumer and the rest always trying to slip some new regulation in hush hush! Many of us are watching now.It looks as our freedoms may be in the scope of the new admin.It may get ugly.
