I'm proud to say I was (and still consider myself) one of Mr. Grant's "Troopers". He made the Lions a feared/respected/reputable group.

GB never closed on ugly winter weather days back then; it was said that if Dutch's dog would go out in the morning to do her business, we were having school. If she wouldn't go out, we went on delay. : )

I was also one of Mr Grant's troopers. It was an honor to go to General Brown. I always thought we never missed school because we were tough and after all these years it was because the dog was tough. Mr grant wil truly be missed he was an icon in our school and village. Rest In Peace
