No Shortage Here

The Governor and the other Democrat leaders in the state are intent on using the federal stimulus money to prop up their spending habits and prolong the agony for New York residents by pushing deficits created by that spending out further.

But, the Governor, who has real issues with credibility between his actions and his words, continues to spend lavishly on himself. Paterson has now treated himself to some new patio furniture.

And the price tag - a whopping $14,188.00, but the frugal Governor gets a preferred customer discount so it ultimately only cost New York taxpayers $9095.00 to outfit his patio. What a bargain! He should be re-elected just on the basis of his thrifty shopping habits.

What you are doing is good, PIV.

But nobody cares. The next Gov will be a donkey. That's all that matters. That is the bottom line.

Get everything you can for as long as you can. Mention often how much you love children. Tell people how important it is to be "green" and "renewable". Don't say anything that can be even remotely connected with gender, race, or sexual preference. Promise everybody everything because you care. Say "education is the future" in your sleep. And when your photo is being taken, stretch your eyes wide open unnaturally as Hillary does.

If you follow these simple rules, the simple voters will return you to office until you tire of the act.

Gee, I read over this and only see where it was a "Quote". Never knew a quote was in invoice, better check it out more.

7:35 You're right. It didn't really happen. Just keep paying your taxes and be stupid.

Today's story about state employees and their free cars was interesting too. But that probably didn't happen either, 7:35.

I would expect that the taxpayers be responsible for the furnishings in the Governor"s mansion, wouldn't you.

The price isn't that bad for what was included on the quote.

Must be a slow news day?

Did you see Alec Baldwin, who today was crying that cutting tax breaks for filming in NYC would cause him and others to go to California to film stuff. I guess the flaming drunk doesn't want to pay his fair share for the children of NY. Maybe, like his daughter, he considers them all pigs.

I wonder if the Great One considers him rich?

Unfortunately, the Gov lost it when he gave all he insiders the big raises.

He has lost all credibility. Now NYers get to wallow in it for 12 months while we spend Obamabucks. This will let us continue to stay fat and stupid. And we can keep Wiley traveling and the teacher union happy. Next year we will be in worse shape than we are this year but we will have dodged the responsibility bullet for a while.

That's always good.
