Fragmented Senate Democrats

If you wonder why the New York State Senate cannot get anything done and is ineffective take a look at this graphic composed by Cap Confidential.

Senator Aubertine is grouped with the "Klavino" group, which is the most loosely formed faction named after Sens Klein and Savino. The entire graphic is a fairly bold presentation.

This is probably true, in a way. But that's what Dems are, a collection of special interests. But that's also why they are in control. So what's your point, PIV?

What is my point?

Allow me to speak a little slower for you.

I N E F F E C T I V E

Did you understand that part of the post?

iv, they've been pretty effectice at raising taxes and spending. you have to give them credit for that.

I mean It took courage to raise spending by more than 9% in a recession! And to pass the largest tax increase in the history of the highest taxed state in the nation.

I guess I'm a little slow on the uptake.

So, what you are telling us, 9:22 is that the GOP is NOT connected to special interests?

God, I feel better. Now I can sleep better at night knowing I don't have to worry about that.

Whew ... and to think I thought otherwise - silly me, right?

Thanks for that lesson in civics.

What group is our seneator in?

Is this a graphic representation of Democracy (on the left), and Communism on the right?

I guess the graph says the Republicans march in lockstep like the good little idealogues they are.

I think the Lockstep Award goes to Senator Aubertine, one of only six Democrats Senators who vote 100% of the time with the downstaters, represented in the TU graphic by the Black Caucus and the Liberals.

So says NYPIRG (which also belongs in the Liberal bubble):

Uh, nope Dan, I don't think the Reps have the special interest thing down nearly as well as your party. Pick your interest. Lawyers, they're yours. Blacks, they're yours. Teachers, they're yours. Government workers, yours. Illegal aliens, uh well yours. Bilinguals. Bisexuals. Bilaterals. Bis. Tris. More taxes people, yours. Redheads, mostly yours. Unions, yours. Lately we've been told that Doctors are yours (doubtful, too much education). Young people are yours. Old people are well, yours. Acorn makes sure dead people are yours. If you're for peace, then they are yours.

About all the Reps have left are racists. Ain't that right, Dannie?

And PIV, you knows I love ya. But you call the Dems in state government INEFFECTIVE? In the face of us being absolutely broke, they have continued spending like drunks in a whorehouse. I believe they have been super effective. They have been able to accomplish everything they have set out to do. Our demise continues unabated. There is no end in sight. And we like it.

Ever consider running for office?
You just made more sense than i've heard in months.

IVY: Free speech; no poster or posting monitoring -- I understand all that, but a certain Anonymous keeps calling and implying that I am a racist -- that might be the exception to the rule, don't you think...

Eventually someone will start believing that a-hole?

Pass this along (no pun intended) to Mayor Graham - gleaned from last City Council meeting?

... what a hoot.

Dannie, yous need to go back to whatever school you went to. No one called you a racist. Not me, not ever. It was you who labeled others racist. Particularly, you tagged Republicans racist. That was the reason for the poke. Get over it. And get over yourself. Problem is Dannie, you have to live with your words. You're the one who puked up this stuff. And thanks for calling me an a*hole. That kind of language, again a tactic not directed at you, keeps you right where you belong, on the fringe. And I had nothing to do with it. You always bring it on yourself. You stay mad because you step into every jab, even though I have no idea what I'm doing. In no way am I the political guru YOU are. I'm just a simple minded guy who likes identify over inflated egos. I can't for the life of me figure out why you take all this so personally.

You don't even have to go to Albany to see fragmented Republicans. Just go up to the Cape where two Republican co-chairs, Robert Chapman and Marty Mason announced that they were not going to support any of their Republican candidates.

Local Republicans are a joke. If they can retract their support for a candidate is it ok if I ask for my 50 buck donation to the GOP back?

Danny M. Francis (Eyepublius) said...

I don't know to which Anonymous this is for, but here goes anyway (call it a shotgun blast to the Anonymous who knows who I mean):

Yes, it is personal when I am called a racist -- I am not.

Yes, it is personal when I am attacked in other ways, but I can defend those attacks and I will continue.

I did not start this "war" of words, but damnit, I'll play along with the best of them.

As I have said, I will defend myself - trouble is, I don't know which Anonymous 䧧hölë it should be directed to?

No one called you racist,Dannie. It was you who called others, specifically Republicans, racist. You've made a fool of yourself by what you've said. And pretending to be the victim in this may be an effective strategy in your view, and I do admit it is perfect Dem behavior, but it doesn't change the facts. You're only viable option is to apologize. But at this point I doubt if it would do you much good. Too many people have followed your dishonest series of responses.
