No Shows

Do you think you can vote for anyone who is a no show at a debate even after they agreed to show up?

Owens and Hoffman were both no shows at the News10Now scheduled debate yesterday after agreeing to attend. Hoffman even agreed both verbally and in writing, can this guy be trusted with your vote - a smart person might think not!

What is Hoffman's explanation?

FYI check out channel 10's own piece on this. Owens was never supposed to be at this 'debate'. He was at the Chamber of Commerce Breakfast in Plattsburgh ( just like the other 2 have been on different dates) doing their candidate forum. And unless you can beam yourself up, or have a private plane there is no way to get to Watertown in time.

I would love to know the truth on this...this election seems to be riddled with even more lies than usual!!!

I find it unusual that Hoffman's people do not respond to this lack of effort on his part. Perhaps it is because there IS no defense for his just blowing off not only these debates but also his interest in the western portion of the district. Maybe he will have better luck if he runs in his own district someday.

I think Hoffman attended the Glenn Beck show instead of this debate thing. Not sure but he was likely thinking better to address 3million plus rather than 278.This race is stirring conservative blood nationwide.Win or loose the RNC likely won't disregard the conservatives again because I can promise you thier income has dropped considerably over this mistake named scozzafova.By 2010 the country will be as sick of liberals as they were of repubs in 08. Nowadays they are basically the same.

So you are saying that Hoffman cares nothing for this district, but only some crazy national movement? That's why he is too good for local news outlets? I say crawl back to the 20th District where you belong Doug. Hoffman and his supporters are delusional

We shall see.

Hoffman may care and be interested in the job - but in all honesty, is out of his league.

Speaking of no show - a picture worth a thousand words as they say.

Dugout Doug - nowhere in sight

He can't handle debates I'd have to say... so how's he gonna handle debate on the House floor?

Short Answer - let's hope he does not get the chance.

12:30 PM is out of his league.

And obama, senate and congress are not???????

So 9:54, you would have us believe that the Conservatives are some sort of "crazy national movement?"

That says a lot. So all of us sheep are obligated to vote for one of the major parties or the other? They own us? I believe that is the thinking that has ruined our state, and it about to ruin our nation.

Dan, you tell us you are going to vote for Dede, yet most all your attacks are against Hoffman. Why is that? Have you been a Donkey so long that ya just can't get your fingers to do the dirty work?

Bottom line, you can talk all you want. You never met an expenditure you didn't like. Which is why a Conservative is not a choice for you. Dede could be. But I'll bet your fibbing and you and the lovely Katharina will vote Owens. Quietly.
