Threatened?

Obama is feeling threatened by Fox News and taking a "Nixonian" approach to attacking and declaring war with Fox News.

Should "W" have attacked MSNBC?

Listen to Karl Rove's take on it and Terry McAuliffe's defense of it and then Rove responds. Rove makes some very interesting valid points.

Lots of folks who grew up in the days when media was controlled by just a few are uncomfortable with things as they are now. This FOX deal has them all in a dither. Dannie, and many others, can't stand living in a world where the big three and the NY Times writes, and everybody else copies. It's a strange way to live. But the only common factor I can see is age. There are young people who fear the Fox News thing but not too many. Dan and his ilk wants one voice on TV and one in print. And he almost has his wish. That's the irony of it all.

Of course Karl "King of Dirty Tricks" Rove never did any of this stuff or anything worse, right? Mr. Clean-as-a-Whistle... yep; that's our guy... Um... flashback time:

History of Rove's Dirty Tricks

Rove has ducked more official requests for his testimony than Daffy Duck ducked Porky Pig stunts.

Rove is a thug, a slick, clever, smart man, but still a thug.

6:02 -- ding, dead wrong... what you cite as "things I want," is precisely what Ruppy Murdoch wants with FOX and News Corp. ... you need to get your facts straight, dickweed.

"The Fox narrow political view entertainment channel", really needs to stop calling itself 'news'.

Ooo,Ooo, now we have "dickweed" coming from the almost successful war hero. That must mean I'm close to the mark. When the profanity starts, dat be a good sign.

Not much of a rebuttal, Dan. Fox is the only one that is cited by The Great One as making his bottom uncomfortable. And it's the only network that seems to cause you difficulties. Now why is that? Gee, I wonder. Could it be that they are the only ones who don't tell it like you want it to be told?

What was your new word, DICKWEED? I'll keep it a little cleaner. When you can't debate, and all you can do is come up with icky little words, that means you're a LOSER. See my word is better, more accurate in your case.

NO, NO, NOOO, Daniel, you're getting it all mixed up. The profane names are all ones you have used for me. The only name I gave you is LOSER. And from the way you have not rebutted any of my points, and done your usual personal attack, I can see that you've lost on this one too.

Dannie, it's simple. Fox tells it a little differently than you want it told. All the others pretty well lock step with what you want, but Fox makes you throw a childish temper tantrum because they stand alone. I cannot for the life of me figure out why, in the face of all the other networks who bow to your slant, you can't live with some variety in the news world. As I said earlier, I don't know if it's an age thing or what. You grew up in a time when Walter spoke for all, and newspapers copied the NYTimes and AP. The local one still does that, which is why I won't buy it. I don't think it has anything much to do with me. As with most of our problems, you just don't like being treated as the great political thinker you view yourself to be. Why else would you be here every day, and calling talk shows every day. And running meaningless campaigns, often. Despite the profanity, I don't think this has much to do with me at all. And this constant begging for me to go public as you do is not attractive. See, I don't have this ego thing going on. I don't pretend to be an expert on anything at all. I'm a dummy. You're the brilliant guy, but one who just can't stand others who see things differently than you do, like me and Fox News. Rest easy, Dan, there are only two of us out here. Me and this guy named Fox.

Fox is the most f**ked up, biased, narrow-minded, and harmful "news" nitwork on the airwaves that it should give us all pause ... for anyone who can't see that, then they surely are blind and deaf.

To quote a used to be VP who used that line of questioning a few months about. The questions is whaaay? Biased, narrow minded, whaaaay? I ask you the simple question young man, woman, tangenered, whaaay to youfeel as you do? Is it a specific story they reported that you heard about, or something you read directly? Either way, I must ask myself, whaaaaay?

Whaaay not read or watch then make up your mind on what you think. Remember, the group thinkers will go to great lengths to convince you to comer over to their way of thinks. It is more fashionalbe.
Whaaaaay, I don't know.

Well that's kind of what Dan says. If we don't see it his way we are blind, deaf, stupid, all kinds of stuff. But Fox is kicking ass in the ratings. Must be a lot of blind stupid deaf people out there. But libs have never had difficulty viewing themselves as above other mere citizens. Dan thinks of himself that way too. Much smarter than the average Joe. I don't doubt that he is a brilliant guy. I never was able to defeat enemies with ego bursts and profanity. But he sure can.

One last thing. You might want to stay away from hammering on people who are blind and deaf. That doesn't exactly make them stupid, or unable to offer analysis of political issues. 9:59, you did use one of Dannies pet vocabs, specifically "nitwork." If you are talking for Dan, or if you see him, advise him to think a bit before he attacks people with disabilities. Such stupidity won't help him in whatever comic campaign he's planning next.

Obama is the first president that I need to call "the most arrogant, self centered politician that I have ever seen. In his mind, if you question him, you are marked for ridicule.

Being made fun of isn't really a problem. It's when they attempt to personally ruin you when you're not politically in line with them. This is a Nixon presidency all over again, complete with enemies lists and a complicit media, except for Dannie's dreaded Fox News.
