Not Impressed

The Ogdensburg Journal is not too impressed with our Democratic representation from Addie Jenne Russell and Darrel Aubertine.

My nomination for the 2010 PULITZER: The Ogdensburg Journal.

Fine picece, hardhitting, but true and the truth does hurt, doesn't it?

My last word on this:

Looking back, Aubertine said that the end of the conflict didn't justify the means, but the result of the chaos was "good."

Good chaos; that 31 days was "good" for us...

Memo to Sen. Darrel: "Wait until the next time a Senator jumps ship and holds the state hostage for a "favor or a powerful committee job, etc" what then? The balance of power shifts again and again and again for that "favor or another good chaotic outcome" that you seem to approve of? Pathetic." /s/ A. Concerned Citizen.

"Good chaos" - more like "good grief!!!" What an historical statement from our Senator - he's one of us - so I guess he expresses our view, too - we all feel that same way, right?

What a deal!!! What a crock.

Cha Ching from St. Lawrence County...hopefully someone up there will wake up and realize that Dumb Darrel and Addie the Absent aren't advocating for anything other than their paycheck.

Toss them all out...

11:46 AM - going out on a limb here...

I bet you vote straight Democrat or perhaps don't vote at all. Classic response PIV, that one goes in the hall of shame.

I agree to a point. from what I have seen and heard in Albany, Addie has been called a "bull dog" for the way she is always fighting for northern new york, I say this even though I didnt vote for her. Absent - not if she can help it,although she is going through a difficult pregancy at this time.

I don't blame Darrel, Dede or Addie for the mess; but leadership means stepping, speaking out and hammering away at those who are/were responsible for the mess NO matter which party they come from.

That is leadership... a strong voice for the people - all three of them lack that trait, IMHO.

A great piece in the WDT today - I totally agree and in fact it sounds a lot like I could have written it? (but, I'll leave that part up to you)...

Paterson's Bold Move

The two parts I refer to are:

1. A proposal supported by Sen. Darrel J. Aubertine and eight other Democratic senators with alternating Senate presidents and co-majority leaders would give co-Senate secretaries veto power over the other's decisions. What kind of system is that when one official can overrule another?

and

2. The courts will decide the legality of Gov. Paterson's move, but it certainly sounds better than playing a game of musical chairs by a bunch of co-leaders.

Amen...

During her campaign the "baby" card was played by the other side, She should choose what's more important.

It's a good thing the same people who read that shi..y paper are the ones who read this shi..y blog....the people who know better will continue to vote for those who fight for them.

To 12:33 PM and Dan Francis,

First, please quit apologizing for Addie while employed by her - here's looking at you Ted Ford. TF or whatever you chose to hide behind. F'n insane that NNY would allow that political hack to get away with a state paycheck.

Danny boy, of course you don't blame Addie, Darrel or Dede because most of the time you agree with those liberal blowhards. Give me a f'n break and run for Congress Dan.

Anon 5:40 are u calling Aubertine a liberal next to Dede? If that is true u are truly blind. IV; I am shocked u didnt attack Dede by name with this post. She has been there the longest, and she is much more liberal than Darrel.

Who or where did anything in the original post mention liberal?

The editorial speaks to Addie and Darrel urging people to vote to give total control of NY to the Democrats and what a failure that has been.

It has nothing to do with Dede or being liberal.

Thanks for the mention but I didn't comment on anything.

Ah, so now we have another Ted Ford nickname. So you are now obviously running JeffersonDemocrat under the pseudonym "HQ".

I get it Ted, and I will make sure that Addie never gets my or any of my families votes as long as you are employed by her. NEVER and shame on you Addie for hiring a political hitman to do, "Constituent Service."

Have you noticed that Addie's uncle got both the major parties endorsements, I knew there was no difference between the two parties.

So Addie will be the heir apparant to the State senate seat???? GOD HELP US.
