Obama Sweetheart Mortgage?
The Hill is reporting a complaint has been filed on a possible sweetheart mortgage deal from Northern Trust for his $1.65 million house with six bedrooms, four fireplaces, a four-car garage and 5 1/2 baths, including a double steam shower and a marble powder room along with a wine cellar, a music room, a library, a solarium, beveled glass doors and a granite-floored kitchen.

nice work, iv. now that you've decided to go after the candidates' financial backgrounds from your uniquely "independent" point of view, i'm sure we're just minutes away from hearing your take on the mccains' 10-some-odd houses and their $50,000 of credit card debt.

Just in...Republicans attack Obama's purchase of a house containing a library and a solarium as excessive...claiming that they have managed to get by for years with just a Bible and the scope of their rifle.
Well, I guess this sweetheart mortgage deal will allow for 4 years of Republicans investigating and hounding President Obama. Now we know what Presidents need to stay away from - lying about consensual sex and sweetheart mortgages. Lying about war, torturing prisoners, illegal wiretaps, all those things are just fine and dandy (although probably not if you are a Democrat).
Mortgages are for sissies. He should have done what Republicans do. Just trade a few favors for a new house.
People with very good credit ratings get these kinds of deals, Scott. I suspect you know that, but again, because of your lack of intellectual honesty with your readers, you chose to imply otherwise.

Any news on McCain's mortgage package??? Oh, that's right, his heiress wife bought their multi-million dollar HOMES.
