Danny Francis or Mike Oot

It seems Dan Francis is a bit peeved at the Democratic Party Chair June O'Neill for lying to him and he is lashing out on here from time to time and at Danger Democrat.

Two Observations:
  1. Dan appears credible when he repeats the claim that the NYS Democratic party made a $5,000 contribution to Mike Oot on May 20th  and a week before Madam Chair O'Neill said "We won't support anyone until after the primary,"  in front of both candidates in Canton.
  2. Danny would have made a better candidate than their current candidate, Mike Oot, who is non existent. You have not seen any sign of this guy or a word on his policy opinions in the press. Zip, Nada Nothing from this guy. He is a joke. It is guaranteed that would not have been the case with Dan Francis.
It must be the Democratic candidates preference for stealth style campaigns this year, not much from A. J. Russell or Darrel Aubertine either. Are they taking the voters for granted?

Dan deserves honesty from the party chair and he will prove them wrong in the end.

Danny, keep pressing for the queen to come clean!

IV: I appreciate those kind words (I assume they were directed to Dan Francis, LOL) ... All joking aside – a lot of people misread me about my political stances and view, and probably most of it is my fault for being (as my wife reminds me far too often: I’m too damn honest and open). She means that in the purest sense, too. BTW: she is a political science major and very savvy woman, but she prefers me to hold my cards closer to my vest as it were on issues, especially about my proclivity in speaking my mind the way I tend to do. But, that’s me.

For those who know me, know I can't do that. If I see a wrong, I want to try and right it; if I see a mistake, I want to try and correct it; and if I see a dirty trick, I want to expose it - not out of malice or revenge or any self-serving motivation other for honesty in public servants and those running to represent the people as I believe they should.

I am not perfect and have never, I hope, implied I that I was ... but, I have over 40 years of honest, loyal and dedicated public-government service (active duty and DOD civilian service) ... and I have always tried to bring what I learned from thousands of folks over those many years an honest, loyal and dedicated approach to elected office, something we see very little of today. I've never been dismayed or persuaded about not trying ... disappointed – sure – who isn’t when they lose a race, but I never give up!

Again, thanks for your note.

You're a good blog host, IV.

Just for the record Mike Oot has been in Watertown the last two days and even spent some hours going door to door Friday.

He did some media interviews here in the process too. And Saturday afternoon he spoke to the democratic team players at a BBQ.
I personally invited you too but, of course, you blew it off because it wasn't all about you.

Did Mike come to your door Dan? Did you go to the BBQ maybe after I left?

Perhaps you didn't notice Oot because those totally self serving personal promotion postings do take a lot of time and effort.
There is no "i" in team except in your lexicon.

Just keep slapping your own back until its beet red Dan. Its your most loveable trait.

I have never really supported you Dan, but I agree with IV. You would have at least run a campaign and made your vision and stances well know to the electorate.

It seems that Queen June took a play out of the Repbulcian book. Avoid a primary at any cost.

Good luck Dan

Nice to have you drop by IV's place and blast me, Ted.

So, for the record, Ted, and line by line, my retort (in BOLD):

First of all: I hope you're not back on the bottle again? Your post above sure seems to indicate you are! LOL...

1. I personally invited you too but of course, you blew it off because it wasn't all about you.

"It's never about me, Ted, it's about issues and problems, but more important - it's about solutions to our problems."

Did Mike come to your door Dan?

"No, haven't seen hide nor hair of him in my neighborhood - but, I'm surrounded by Republicans - maybe that's why? But, my door is always open to anyone."

Did you go to the BBQ maybe after I left?

"No, I did not - the invite never reached me - and I had family things in the hopper to contend with."

Perhaps you didn't notice Oot because those totally self-serving personal promotion postings do take a lot of time and effort.

"In my view, I make no personal promotion postings, except the ones you falsely accuse me of."

There is no "I" in team except in your lexicon.

"I served 20 years in the Marine Corps, Ted, I damn sure know what "team" player and "team work" are - Gung Ho (look it up)."

Just keep slapping your own back until its beet red Dan. It’s your most loveable trait.

"Hey, slapping one's own back is a sport we all enjoy sometimes ... try it sometime - you might like it."

FYI: I try to never personally attack anyone outside of a heated campaign ... I'm surprised you use this forum to attack me.

For IV: sorry to use your page for this type of stuff ... but unlike John Kerry, I respond quickly to set the record straight ... for the record!

The "Joe Lieberman of the North" attacks again. He runs a rotten campaign and blames everyone but himself for it.

Warrants no response - suffice it to say, stupid is as stupid posts.

Dan, you're just malicious. Scott, you're just an idiot.

I caled the State Dem party about this so-called $5000 contribution and found out that you Dan were told by the highest levels in the Dem party that the
represented an in kind contribution of the use of the State Dem Voter software, made available to any candidate for any office by the State Party but they had to pay an aditional $800. Almost every candidate for major office in the State took advantage of this, but you didn't.

It isn't lost on me that your posted reply to the attack on June O'Neill and Oot completely lacked any reference to the $5,000. And you know why, don't you Dan? I can't believe that you would avoid telling the truth about this but instead would prefer to allow yourself to be portrayed as the victim and see someone else maligned unfairly. As for Scott, why didn't youjust call the State Dems and ask them about the $5Gs? Too much work? Rather be accusatory than right?
Then, Dan, you have the balls to say that the invite to the party didn't get to you. Poor poor Dan. Posted on DD but didn't get to you? Victimized again, huh.

And then your personal attack on Ted Ford? Completely despicable, but just waht we've grown to expect from you. Republican attack dog that you've become.

The high level of investigative analysis that goes on before postings by Scott on this site suits you perfectly.

A lot of people misread you about your political stances? Hell, you changed your stance on the war so often people couldn't read you at all. Win at all costs...we must get out...We should not have left Vietnam...We need to stay in Iraq...We need to get out. You know, you can change your website, but there are a bunch of sites out there that archive every version of every page published. The big technological news for you both is that you can't hide your position changes, you can change it but it's still out there for everyone to see...and compare.

Keep up the good work, Joe L. Oh, you're just too damn open and honest.

First, Dan Francis only attacked Ted Ford because he asked for it. If Ted throws a stone, be ready for one to come back in your own window. As for Dan Francis, he is obvious that we need someone in Albany that speaks his mind. Not someone who kisses a bunch of a-s.

I would vote for Mr. Francis in a minute. I met both of them in the same room ( Oot and Francis ) I believe both of them to be worthy.

However, I agree with IV that Oot does not show the interest, and it is to bad that no one takes Dan Francis seriously.

I'll post this and I’ll be done with a CERTAIN ANONYMOUS poster henceforth.

First of all, you are a lying, small little insect of a person, hiding behind an ANONYMOUS poster label and lying through your teeth – I assume you still have teeth?

I have the evidence and the NYS DEMS have NEVER contacted me from any level, high or low, in any fashion about this case and my inquiry to them. The action is still pending with Andrew Cuomo's office.

You posted this and it's entirely bogus, shear flat-out bogus and you damn well know it. BTW: your spelling sucks – and I didn’t change a word from your post:

"Dan, you're just malicious. Scott, you're just an idiot."

"I caled the State Dem party about this so-called $5000 contribution and found out that you Dan were told by the highest levels in the Dem party that the

My last point: I have posted the details clearly here and at DD and other places about June O’Neill’s lie to me ... Your facts are totally wrong, 100%.

If you want to confront me, then do it like a man, in public and not here; or get a lawyer and press your charges ... because at this clip, I damn sure will against you; because it's you, my ANONYMOUS poster, who is dead wrong and libel as well as slanderous towards me and “Scott” as you label IV as. Your crap must not stand and I hope that IV blocks you from further posting until you ‘fess up and show us you really are. I don’t hide in the sewer like you do and post with an ANONYMOUS label covering me, and neither should you!

I’m done now.

Danny M. Francis (Eyepublius) said...

The problem here with IV is that there are at least two ANONYMOUS posters. I hope I didn't offend the wrong one? LOL

That's why I always try to say to: “A CERTAIN ANONYMOUS...” that way, I hope, I don't offend the wrong one because that's the problem with posting Anonymously to an Anonymous poster: one never knows who (or whom) they are responding to and that sucks.

I have been consistent about war, combat, VN, Afghanistan and Iraq.

I have not waivered one bit.

I may state my views differently at times depending on the different venue, or in a different sentence style, but my basic stance has remained the same and not changed.

Investigation pending at Cuomo's office...aw Dan, you're priceless. Find me one place in NY law that says they can't make a 5k in-kind contribution.

One the anonymous posters was right...it was for voter software, and if you read the FEC report, they did pay an extra $800 for it.

You could have too if you would've raised $800 during your campaign.

My favorite though was one of your 4 district wide supporters saying that "we need someone in Albany to speak their mind."

While that's true didn't your run for Congress? I know it's hard to keep track of how many times you've lost election to public office, but I think this time they meant Washington.

A certain ANON: Your post in part:

"One the anonymous posters was right ...it was for voter software, and if you read the FEC report, they did pay an extra $800 for it. You could have too if you would've raised $800 during your campaign."

That was not the issue - you totally lost the focus - it was Mrs. O'Neill standing in public and proclaiming no support for any candidate until after the primary... the $5,000 had been dished out 8 days prior to her lying.

If you can't see that, then you don't want to know the truth - either way, I don't care what you think or want - but the truth is still the truth and it stands on two legs, not on one!
