Obama Ties To Fannie Mae

Obama has a strong supporter who is intimately familiar with Fannie Mae.

Meet Jim Johnson; adviser to Obama, the former VP vetter who had to step down while he was under fire from the media and former CEO of Fannie Mae forced out by an accounting scandal.

This blog is just laughably ignorant. You do, of course, realize that John McCain's campaign advisor was a big time lobbyist for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. I'm sure you will report that fact.

Tell me, do you feel even a slight bit of embarrassment when you post Republican talking points like this?

"And for years, Rick Davis served as president of an advocacy group led by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac that defended the two companies against increased regulation." More here.

Ever hear of Arthur B. Culvahouse Jr.? He helped John McCain pick his Presidential candidate. Yep, a lobbyist for Fannie Mae. See, you need to check out anything McCain says - he's a liar.

Oopsy, looks like Rick Davis has received almost $2 million from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac while he was lobbying to prevent any regulation of those companies.

Do you think you might get around to doing a post on this revelation?

19 of John McCain's campaign staff once lobbied for either Fannie or Freddie.
