Count On His Support

The Mayor, Jeff Graham, is in the support column for Sarah Palin 2012 by the looks of his Beetle!

I dont care how much of a reformer you think Palin would be, she is completely unqualified. Maybe at the state level or county level somone like this could work, but we are talking about putting the Nation in the hands of a complete idiot. If Palin were to be elected we would see the largest schism in our country's history. No matter how conservatives paint Obama, he is a centrist, and somone who has already proven to unite the country. Palin not only is extremely unqualified, she would tear this country apart. I just cannot understand anyones logic in supporting a 2 term Governor from the smallest state in our country to make the tough decisions that will affect everyone in our country. Unbelievable. Mayor Graham, I expect more from you.

Shows how smart you are. How is our current president any more qualified than Palin. If you ask me? Give me all the unqualified politicians you can find. Maybe they will have more common sense than the ones we have now. By the way what are the qualifications?

Youre really saying you want people making decisions about war who know nothing about war. You want people making decisions about our economy who dont know economics? You want people who know nothing about foreign policy making our foreign policy decisions? A well qualified politician is versed on every issue they may encounter, and if they are not, they surround themselves with people who are. I dont know about you, but these are no small decisions a president is making and I would much rather have a well qualified one in the White House. I dont know if Obama has all the answers, but to me, he atleast acts as though he understands the issues and is eager to learn more about them if he does not. I am glad we no longer have a president who is happy to just skate by.

off the top of my head, maybe it's that obama is extremely well-versed on the issues, seeks out a diversity of opinion, and emphasizes reasoned, deliberate decision making.

Which is exactly why he should not be running anything. Wacko!

Ya but when his telepromter malfunctions he can barely speak english. social security is going broke and he blows billions on choo choo trains to the casino for Harry and marsh rat studies at nancy's place or rotting grapes for our boy chuckie. I can't understand why you guys think this is a good thing,We have to pay for this stupidity. And how he is so qualified? obama has never run anything in his life other than band together the thugs in Chicago and shake down corporations for donations. Which he is still doing on a much larger scale.

Perhaps the Mayor can see Alaska from his front porch?

Bottom Line: We are talking about Governor Palin in this forum because the Mayor has bumper stickers on his car.

Evidently his efforts are working to some degree.

In some ways, I'm unconvinced about Palin's qualifications. However, it was our unbiased media that painted her as what she is. That makes me want to give her a second look. She was unfairly attacked, and continues to be. Unlike Obama, who was invented, packaged, and protected.

If media tells me something, I know it's a lie. And if you believe it, you're a fool.

jim,
your comment contains so many right-wing smears and debunked talking points that i can only suppose it's a parody. but just in case others, like myself, aren't completely sure if you're serious or not, let me say that obama speaks extremely well without a teleprompter (just watch the q & a part of one of his press conferences), there's nothing about trains to nevada or marsh mice in the stimulus, and the line about "thugs in chicago" is a cheap smear.

anon 2:59,

well that's a fine recipe for ignorance if i've ever seen one! i guess it speaks to the problems dealing with reality that have become so common in the conservative base. and as for palin, i agree that she encountered sexism and poor treatment at the hands of the media. but at the end of the day, she has absolutely no one to blame but herself for her poor image. perhaps you're familiar with this quote:

Ultimately, what the bailout does is help those who are concerned about the health care reform that is needed to help shore up the economy- Oh, it's got to be about job creation too. So health care reform and reducing taxes and reining in spending has got to accompany tax reductions.

that was in response to katie couric's question asking her to justify the bailout passed last fall. do you think couric made palin veer off on an incoherent roller coaster ride like that? was it an unfair question? no! sarah did it all by herself. and that's really how the whole campaign went too -- sarah did it to herself. i think the republican party will be a lot healthier once it stops making excuses and comes to terms with that.

Well Kermit, even you should know that Palin spoke with Couric for many hours over a few days for the "interview" that was untimately released. Even you should realize that the image presented by Couric was carefully edited. From the start, it was clear that Palin was the wrong kind of woman for the media to support. Theirs was a hatchet job from the beginning. It still continues.

Can you imagine if one of Palin's kids was accused of snorting cocaine at a party? It wouldn't have received the quiet coverage Biden's little girl enjoyed.

Now we hear that Bristol's boyfriend claims the Gov "knew we were having sex." But when you read the story, he has no direct knowledge of that, he just assumes, and the media loves it.

It all goes back to the fact that she is a conservative. Media isn't going to be fair with such folk, as they have an agenda. So do you.

See any blue lines lately?

I think NYS should propose a 9% increase in research spending on the cause of Blue Lines.
