Tin Ears

Not a day goes by it seems that the Senate Democrats do not give the voters a reason to believe they are out of touch with the people of New York State.

Smith announced plans and intentions to travel to Puerto Rico, Israel, China and India.

One of those trips is almost sure to be interrupted by an widely anticipated session to cut the budget because of insufficient revenue, but that most likely will not slow these trotters down.

This is from the NEW YORK POST

Asked by a reporter whether he was fiddling while Rome burned, the clueless Smith asked, "First of all, where is Rome burning?"
Need anything else be said about the Majority Leader Smith and the Senate Democrat majority?

Any chance he'll stay in any of the places he's visiting? That would definitely be better for NY. This guy is clueless, not too bright and apparently incapable of standing up to the Jewish godfather, Sheldon Silver. Silver is without a doubt the No 1 problem this state is facing and there will never be change in Albany until he's either dead or deposed from his corruption-laden throne atop the collections of idiots that is the NYS Assembly majority.

it is past time for serious citizens get off the sidelines and get to work. I am writing every Dem I know, and I know a few. I have had it with the "status quo."

Fit this breaking news here, I guess?

Scott Murphy (D) claims victory in the 20th CD race - the seat stays DEM (Gillibrand's old seat).

Woodchuck, the Seldon problem has been around for a long time. I don't see that situation changing anytime soon. The problem is people don't see the connection. Ya had to be a fool not to see this coming. But one thug rule is fine with special interest groups that run the state.

Darrell ran on the platform that a Shelly run state was good for us. We need to hold him accountable. With all the people who like this unsustainable numbers game, I don't think we will. It'll be Darrell, and Shelly, again and again. As well as any donkey running for Gov.
