Some days you are the bug, others you are the windshield, last night the Democrats were the windshield and everything they ran into was flattened.
Politics is cyclical and after 8 years of a tumultuous administration, voters made Republicans pay for it at the polls up and down from local to national races. Republicans have been reduced to the loyal opposition or even spectators at all levels on the federal and state scene. Democrats will be responsible for all governing and likewise they will take the praise and fault, both parties have experience with the circular firing squad.
Congratulations to all the candidates; John McHugh, Michael Oot, David Renzi, Darrel Aubertine, Addie Jenne Russell, Bobby Cantwell, and Donald Lucas for a spirited race and congratulations to the winners; John, Darrel, and Addie.

is big enough to take away everything you have"

"tumultuous administration"?
Will you at least once in your life be intellectually honest?
Now that the Dems control everything, Darrell has no excuse to not save Lee Memorial Hospital. The heats on!
Dubya can't leave town soon enough.
"Screw the 'Transition' O, here are the keys. adios!"
DEMS runaway with it all, true, but now THEY HAVE TO LEAD...
This aspect of any race has always bothered me: The campaigning never seems to stop - when the winners should roll up their collecetive sleeves and get things done, they seldom do.
This is what always motivates me (w/o any results, but motivates me nevertheless).
Good luck to all - Now, get to work for the People
Wow after all the money that was spent by the republicans in the 48th and their HUGE registration advantage in the district they got beat again! Imagine if the party could have that 5 million it has spent here over the past 11 months. They might still have the majority.
I wanted Dave. Let's see what the Dems bring us. I will support the moderate Obama that ran for president. I will not support the liberal oboam that he was in raliity
No they don't, Danny. They just have to maintain their carefully cultivated ties with big media.
We don't know what Obama is in reality. That's the problem.
Did McHugh campaign? Perhaps he's MIA. Maybe he's back in Iraq....sure beats answering questions back home. And who can challenge him on "official business?" Ask the returning soldiers how they had to roll out the red carpet for him on his 6,343visits. Better yet, save their careers and ask their spouses.
