You can bet a large sum that she is a pick for a cabinet position, and yes possibly Sec'y of State. In everything printed about her yesterday, never once did you read, she has no interest or she would prefer to remain the Senator for New York residents. She often used those or similar phrases when the veep vetting was occurring, but not now.
Here are her coy comments.
“I am not going to speculate or address anything about the president-elect’s incoming administration."
“And I’m going to respect his process, and any inquiries should be directed to his transition team.”
"A government big enough to give you everything you want,
is big enough to take away everything you have"
Thomas Jefferson

I can't say with any certainty and neither can anyone else, but in my view, HILL only wanted the senate seat as a spring board to the White House ...
In all honesty, what has she done for NYS as a whole, not in tiny little pieces, but as a whole state?
I can count her "achievements" on one hand. She like many others, talk a about achievements, but in the final analysis as we keep score, they deliver few.
As so often is the case in these situations, "name, fame, and fortune" drive that pol process -- sadly, a lot of people missed that train, too.
I doubt she'd take the job. She's still too busy creating all those Upstate jobs she promised us during her first campaign...
But if she does go for it, her motto can be, "I'll do for North Korea what I did for Utica!"
