Who says Teddy Roosevelt's Bull Moose Party is dead?

Maybe with her latest charges (ethics again - improper use of your public office to hold press conferences not related to that office), she'll be out of jail and ready, by GOP standards, I guess, to run for office?

Maybe Graham can work on that angle ... (or send her a file in the cake that they both want to eat, too)?

Palin is history on the national stage. "She oughta be outta here. Say it's true, Joe, that it ain't gonna happen. You betcha gee whiz, gosh darn it, doncha know."

Poor Plain Sarah Palin can't get a break - goes to turkey farm, pardons a turkey then sticks around for three minutes to conduct interview while just behind her - well you take a look IT AIN'T PRETTY BEING A TURKEY...

Be forewarned - the turkey bought the farm, so to speak...

Make sure our Mayor sees that, too...

Amen... let's all bow our heads and pray.

Dan, you know what that ethics thing is about. Shame on you for bringing it up.

Any government property cannot be used for partisan campaigning or Q&A regarding a campaign... Federal, State, or Local rules...

This is new stuff; apparently I read more than you do?

Double shame, Dan. There is nothing that has come out that makes any kind of sense. Its all personal bs. Just like this recent indictment of Cheney, along with about 500 others.

I haven't seen anyone taking quite the unfair hits that Palin has of late. We have the Afffrreaka thing, admitted to be a hoax, but only after the election. The clothes thing, a non-issue to all but Wiley types. But carefully memorized by donkey thinkers. Now we have the staged turkey film. You gonna cite that as a reason to chide her? C'mon Dan. Don't buy into it.

I can get you a date with Letterman if you're lonely.

Danny M. Francis (Eyepublius) said...

10:26, Anon and others: I buy into this, though:

Palin was not ready for the VP slot and by extension, the Presidency by all accounts.

* But leave it up the media and slick marketing ploys and "People R Us" experts and by God, we'll make sure she is ready (even if she isn't) by marketing the impression that she is ready: a mini-series, TV show, book, movie deal - that outta work just fine -
* Anything or anyone can be packaged and airbrushed today to hide any shortfall or blimish in order to sell it to the public the way the "experts" want to sell it ...

* That has become the media's new role - make people like something just because they see it/them on TV or in the news (enough times) - then they'll "buy" it/them.

* Their duty is to market "rising stars," and stuff - not report news and information. This story kinda nails it More Palin"

Read the facts, then review your anger about my views.

1) you know gosh darn well that she stood in front of that turkey slaughter for a reason--to keep her dumb ass in the headlines. the "liberal media" are fools. she rants and raves about what dirty players they are, but uses them to keep her name out there, and they eat it all up and then ask for more. maybe i should rethink that "dumb ass" remark. please, just let her die a quick death, and not prolong the punishment.

2) if your mayor is serious about his support for her, he needs to (a) have his head examined, and (b) needs to find a new line of work.
she wants to discuss radical? she couldn't be more radical a figure in her ideology. you mark my words, that woman is a power-hungry backstabber--you let her within 10 feet of the White House and you will see your civil liberties vanish faster than you can say You Betcha.

Dan Francis.

He will run for any office, and he is the most fit for any office, just ask him

Danny M. Francis (Eyepublius) said...

11:41 Anon:

True, I will run for just about any office that I feel I am qualified to run for, but more importantly, an office that I think I can serve effectively in better than the person I oppose.

I know my limitations and my abilities, but based upon my life's experiences and successes thus far, my potential far outweighs my minuses ... in my view.

You may not and probably do not agree -- that's your choice.

I stand by my record -- not my losing elections record, certainly, but my life's record in total -- that matters to me even if it does not to you.

And, yes, I like public service and find it an honorable profession to do good for my country and community - and that's why I run more than anything else -- a strong sense of duty (the old Marine in me).

~ Now, scurry on.

She was the wrong kind of vagina. That's all there is to it.

You donkeys wouldn't know a good vagina if it was staring you in the face.

I don't know, Dan, if she was a great choice for VP. But neither do you. The media did the same lynch job they did on Robert Bork years ago. It was unfair, inaccurate, biased, and best of all, it required no real thought. That's what made it easy to sell to the donkeys who were already looking for something to hate her for.

All the while Biden was allowed to hide. Stupid stuff for stupid folks. I'm disappointed so many bought into it. But then again the schools aren't exactly teaching us to think.

Danny M. Francis (Eyepublius) said...

I agree that the media gave Palin a raw deal, but even still, they give plenty of folks raw deals -- that's their job - turmoil and blood.

Most can handle it, she could not.

She was/is not ready for prime time.

Anonymous said...

BS Dan. That deal stood alone. Tell me someone who has had such unfair treatment. Harder yet, tell me a donkey who has had such treatment.

I'll give you as much time as you want.

Danny M. Francis (Eyepublius) said...

7:58 Anon:

"Unfair" or intense media treatment - there is a slight difference in my mind.

Intense: that's easy: Hillary Clinton(in general, both Clintons)...

Unfair or more apropos, a raw deal: Palin, but as I said, she brought it on herself.

Danny M. Francis (Eyepublius) said...

Anyway, enough from me on Palin and/or Graham's sign.

Anonymous said...

Go ahead, Dan, or anybody else. Name someone who has had such unfair treatment by the press.

You can't. And you know it.
I don't blame you for glossing over that one.

If you come up with any names, I'll be glad to debate you. This hack job has stood alone.
