Senate Split - 31 to 31

What happens if the Senate Democrats pick up just one seat in this fall's election? New York State will have a split Senate at 31 apiece for Republicans and Democrats.

The three Democrats; Espada, Diaz and Kruger, who have have formed the independent caucus will play a signficant role in governing this state. The three Senators are Democrats but they have not sided with Democrats in the past, therefore they are up for sale!

If the Republicans are successful in picking up the Stachowski seat in western New York, then they will retain the majority. In which case, the North Country would be better served by David Renzi.

If the Republicans pick up the 48th district a majority could also be secured thus Dave Renzi is the correct choice for a Balance of Power and keeping the downstate liberal agenda in check. We need to retain some control for upstate. We need our voices heard and to mean something. We do not need to be totally controlled by NYC for whats best for NYC and everything about NYC. Upstate does matter.

Vote Renzi to protect Upstate's voice and our way of life.

It's not gonna happen. Wishful thinking.

Don't want to confuse you with the facts, but Dean Skelos, current GOP Majority leader in the Senate lives only 18 miles from Democrat Malcolm Smith, current Minority Leader. He just happens to live over the border in Nassau County so he can claim he doesn't live in the "city." So how does he protect our 'upstate way of life?'
What a crock.

Well that's easy, he doesn't spew the liberal agenda. It has nothing to do with where he lives.
