Full Disclosure Duel

In the interest of full disclosure to clear up in every voter's mind regarding the issue of integrity and ethics here is a proposal.

Darrel Aubertine - Disclose and release for public viewing any contract you may have with wind companies. The public will be able to view any contract you possesses and review any legislation voted in the state legislature. Further disclose any of your office documents or memos with regard to wind power.

Dave Renzi - Fully disclose your retirement statement for the public to view along with your periods of employment and with whom you were employed. Further disclose the amount of taxpayer money put in retirement by taxpayers on your behalf.

The proposed disclosures should be unedited, sent and posted on Newzjunky as they are the most unbiased presenter of news.

The voter's are smart people, they will be able to judge from there who possesses the most ethical position of the two situations.

What say you Darrel and Dave?

Also, please give us an estimate of how much you would benefit from the system for that few cents or dollars that you paid in.

Let's say from retirement at 62 to a lucky life of 85.

This is very easy. The kind people at the State retirement system can give it to you right to the penny. Or, you can go to the website and do it yourself.

PIV is typical of NYS retirement members who do not realize the impact of a few pennies now on what you collect in the future.

Dave Renzi is a lawyer. He is well aware that the few pennies that it costs him now will be of great benefit later. That is why he took the time and the risk to participate in this illegal scam.

Darrel Aubertine has every legal right to benefit from the windmill contracts on his land until such a time that a law is written to exclude all people connected with public service. If you had been following the windmill situation more carefully, PIV, you would find republicans and democrats alike that sit on decision making bodies who want a piece of that pie for themselves or their relatives.

There is a hell of lot of difference between making a stupid mistake and participating in a well thought out scam conducted over a period of many years

Let us re-write that for you.

In the interest of full disclosure and to cover up in every voter's mind Renzi's horrible mistake of getting caught in the LawyerGate scam, regarding the issue of integrity and ethics, here is a proposal.

ATTORNEY GENERAL CUOMO SUBPOENAS LAWYERS AND LAW FIRMS ACROSS NEW YORK STATE IN EXPANDING PROBE INTO SCHOOL DISTRICTS' LAWYERS

Full disclosure by Mr. Aubertine concerning his interests and possible benefits from wind mills on his property should and must be disclosed to the public. It is a matter of ethic because if he has voted on decisions that are favorable to wind tower development in Cape Vincent, and if he has pre-signed contracts or persons' interested in his property, then he has a direct benefit from voting favorably on wind tower development in the state. This is a simple matter that has obvious implications. It's just like insider trading. If you have fore knowledge of an event that is going to take place in a corporation and you buy and sell your stock accordingly, then you are taking advantage of the information that you have and thereby gaing more than the average public who must wait for that information to be properly released. If Mr. Aubertine has done the same thing then he should be held accountable for it.
Likewise with Mr. Renzi. If he knowingly participated in the NYS Retirement system even though he knew he shouldn't then that is a vilation of ethics and he should withdraw his membership from the retirement system and get his money back that he put it. SIMPLE!

I can't believe you people are so hung up on wind mills and retirement credits. Hello? Are there not any real issues or problems that face this region that deserve more time and thoughtful consideration? Ft. Drum, unfunded state mandates, housing problems, property tax relief, how the Wall St. mess will affect us here, etc. And all you people want to talk about is wind mills and supposed retirement scams. Get a life

Mr. Renzi said the Times' inquiries Tuesday and Wednesday were part of Mr. Aubertine's "whisper campaign of negative, personal attacks."
Get small balls, dumya crats. Instead of whispering you should be shouting it from public square. the guy is a crook.

To my delight, the TIMES has always been Republican. If they reported this and it is true, then we got trouble.

Republican for Darel

Boy Dave even Republican Supervisors are turning on you. Thats not good, of course who wants to be on a sinking ship. Just wait until the Aubertine camp goes after your record, oh thats right you have never ever had to vote on a budget or any issue in your life. That must be why it is so easy to throw stones.

Go ahead blogers , make an issue of local politicians and windmills. Guys from both parties are on the village boards, planning boards and, even the county board who see them as a plus for us.
Ask you boy Dave to run an ad on that one. You and Renzi will be dragged behind a John Deere with a republican and a democrat taking turns at the wheel.
Bipartisan, we call it.
Dems and R's will come together for a bbque and sell tickets,

Full disclosure. Coming from a secret partisan blog run by GOP politicians rumored to be from the JeffCo board. At leaste this disaster isn't coming from Oswego.

Hey Wiley, Cuomo is also doing the same with land owners, and wind companies.

Both these guys have ethical lapses, The only thing I will say for Renzi is that his responses are at least believable.

I didn't know I can't hire my sister.

LOL

Anon 8:17..

I assume you mean rwiley.

If you find more believable a lawyer who pretends to be an employee instead of a private contractor so he can steal money from the New York State Retirement system, have at it.

In order for Dave Renzi to get those credits from the retirement system, some basic paperwork had to be filled out and signed. Applications to the New York State retirement system require much more than a wink and a nod.

If you trust a lawyer who would sign papers under false pretense, be my guest.

Dave, plead no contest with no admission of guilt, accept the reduced charge of using a false instrument, do the three weeks probation and take some time to spend with your family.
