Head Over Heels In Debt

The state is head over heels in debt, so why would anyone expect the campaign funds that drive these people into office to be any different.

The State Senate Democratic committee is borrowing their way into office by tapping a line of credit for $600,000. The loan is personally guaranteed by the members of the Democratic minority. What is your portion of that debt Darrel?

In other words, they don't want to answer the question.

Who can blame them.
Borrowing money is the donkey way.
Is this one "for the children" too?

The funny thing is, the Dems are being outspend 2-1 and they are still winning seats. New Yorkers are not stupid, they will vote for the better candidate, not the candidate who spends the most. Idiot.

Who are the biggest borrowers in New York and Federal history?

Oh, George Pataki for NY and....George W. Bush and Ronald Reagan for the Presidency!!!!

Government borrowing is the Republican way.

How laughable that the Republicans who have put our state in historic debt, try to play this silly semantic game. Seriously IV, grow up. If you were half as outraged about what Senate Republicans did with $124 Billion as you are with Democrats, your site would be somewhat credible.

The only people left in NY are people who have an interest in the continued dysfunction of government. I'm all for it. Just a few more years and I can screw your kids, financially, for the rest of my life.

What a great state.
Long live Shelly.

THIS I agree with. THIS the donkeys have a point on. THIS is the truth. Pataki and the boys borrowed like drunkin' whatevers. They deserve blame too. But now is now.

We have to stop spending, NOW.

But this time the donkeys have a point and should be recognized as such.

The dog shakes his paw.
Now he says get on with it and stop spending money we don't have.

Of course, Senate Democrats wouldn't have to BORROW money for their campaigns if those pesky Republicans would just let them have their way -- and make the taxpayers pay for them.

Add taxpayer-funded political campaigns to the list of bad ideas that the Dems will shove down our throats if they are allowed to take over ALL of state government!\

Campaigns go into debt all the time and pay that debt off. What's the story here? These guys are going to win anyways.

Hey smallmind.
This spending issue is the issue.
Simple.
Put your partisan bs to rest once in a while.
