Bobby Lights the Lamp in the 118th

Bobby Cantwell has issued a strong strike at his opponent for her latest campaign commercial, which the ad according to Cantwell displays British medals not U.S.

A service veteran more than likely noticed it during an airing of the commercial and alerted the Cantwell campaign of the alleged mistake.

From the press release.

“Mrs. Russell doesn’t get it that these medals are not just interchangeable campaign props – they represent the love, devotion and courage that our veterans – America’s real heroes – have shown for our great country,” said Kramer.

Who cares, shouldnt we honor all veterans, british soldiers fought with our US soldiers too. The important thing is the message, and how she will help veterans once elected, what has Bobby said he would do to help veterans so far??? ooh yeaaa...thats right...nothing...

That's a pretty stupid thing to say. Poorly punctuated as well.

Partisan bs.

If she wanted to honor all Veterans, she can air her commercial overseas. These campaign commercial producers have the same elitist stereotype of our military like the rest of Hollywood. At least they showed some restraint by avoiding having the guy dressed like Rambo.

Hey, why not have some Vets dressed up like a bunch of stock shots of Redcoats or like South American General Generalissimo, complete with riding crop. Her campaign screwed up. "Attention to detail", Addie!

Let's talk wind. Bobby Cantwell and David Renzi Will lead the way in investigating corrupt wind contracts.
Stop Wind, Stop Unpatriotic Russel, Stop Aubertine

Vote Renzi and Cantwell

I hope Bobby has enough class to not let PIV lead the charge on this one. PIV has already screwed up enough. Let it be, PIV. You are not helping us much here.

What a bunch of incredibly stupid horse hockey.
A video producer makes a 'stock shot' error and you yahoos call it an insult to veterans.
Put your dunce caps back on and all of you go stand in the corner.

Obviously a big mistake, but who cares in the grand scheme of things, will putting up some british metals make her any less of a leader? Will it make Bobby Cantwell any better? The answer is NO, focus on real issues.

Hey Anon, Cantwell supports windfarms.

The Republican machine just can't help themselves. They didn't even mention in their press release that they are supporting Bobby Cantwell. They 'got nothing' so they decided to go negative with 11 days to go. Addie Jenne Russell just released a plan to help veterans. She is action-oriented and no one should be worried about some quick footage. If you listened to the commercial, or even heard the radio ad, like I heard today, you'll know she's a huge supporter of, and has the utmost respect for our military men and women, active or retired.

Such a shame for the Republicans to resort to raising these kind of issues instead of focusing on the real issues.

Your weak attempt at this will only piss off military more than you already have. This is already not known as a military friendly site, sniper.

Hey Anon, Cantwell supports windfarms.

Depending on who he is talking to. I think he supports Dave Renzi in his valiant efforts to stop fraudulent wind contracts, and to push these beasts from the area. the more influential members of County boards agree and if wind crooks come into our area they should deal with the County leaders and Dave Renzi as Senator first. This is growing and popular support for David Renzi who assures us he will go after the wind crooks.

I don't think she meant it. But it wasn't real smart, not knowing our own medals. Let's get off it. Too much other stuff talk about.

Now on to the unfriendly military stuff. With your posts, I've noticed a distinct preoccupation with piss. Whether it's piss ant or just plain piss. Sir, I don't want to sit where you sit. Makes me nervous. I don't think you're military at all. Certainly not officer material. Maybe that's what got you so upset.

Oh, one last thing Mr Sniper. I see that McCain polls at 68% with the military. I guess it was a Military Times magazine poll. Politically, that must make you keep your head down a bit, now doesn't it? At least on post. Whatever post you happen to be posted at.

Nobody here has anything but appreciation for our military. Grow up, and quit hiding behind bs.

If I were a soldier, I'd be pissed that reps from DACC are pretending to be soldiers and making these posts. I read through these posts and it is so obvious who is from the Dem Committee in Albany and who is really from the North Country and DRUM, sorry not "the Drum." Nice try DACC!

Let's get to the real issues here. It's about Cantwell and Jenne-Rus. Go Cantwell you are what the North Country needs.

And I am sorry but I bet if you walked into any American Legion there are some REALLY ticked off Veterans over this commercial. Yet another reason why I feel these posts are by DACC, because they are young and think the only veterans here are at "THE DRUM" Sorry but my grandfather is a vet and not on Drum and not happy about the commercial!

RACC is the only team trying to play a part in this one. Maybe DACC did make the ad, and did make the mistake, but Addie is being a true leader and taking responsibility for it herself, without veiling herself behind DACC. Cantwell should be ashamed for veiling himself behind RACC. Why does he say that he takes no responsibility for what RACC says when they are paying directly for his TV ad's. I am very dissapoited in him. If you are going to attack Bobby, do it yourself, be a man.

I don't really care about the ad. I don't care about any of this vet stuff any more. We had a choice between a decorated vet and Bill Clinton. We went with the fool. We now have the choice between McCain. We don't have to repeat his story. We're about to go with a professional something or other who hangs out with dick brains. He has no record whatsoever, but he is a donkey. So let's not preach about how much our vets service means to us. As I see it, it doesn't mean squat. We've come a long way.
